Kabar, salam and hope that you continue writing about these thorny issues.
I write in English because i find it easier and because i dont have an Arabic keyboard. So, i hope language is not a barrier between partners in one homeland, Sudan.
This public board of knowledge and sharing of information is a great opportunity for people to talk about their concerns and their vision for the future of Sudan.
In the heart of this future is the fact that Sudan is a diverse and culturally rich country. Mosaic. Rainbow. And the fact that part of our problems in Sudan or in the world in general is the ignorance of people about each others.
I consider myself a reasonably knowledgeable person. But my knowledge of the areas and towns you are talking about in the Nuba mountains and in central Sudan, is limited.
Is it possible when people write about political issues they also write about the people there. Their cultures and ways of life, their evironment and their relationship to the land and other people?
In this way we help each other understand the whole picture. Of course people can obtain information from refernces and books. But it is different when you listen to or read the account directly from first-hand people who have experienced personally the situations on the ground.
