A Sudanese diplomat arrested for allegedly grinding up against a 38-year-old Brooklyn Heights woman ogled other female prey before finally settling on his victim, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Before boarding a crowded subway car at Grand Central station at about 2 p.m. Monday, Mohammad Abdalla Ali, who is 5-foot-3, paced back and forth on the platform of the uptown 4 train, staring at the backsides of numerous women, cops said.
The married dad of three daughters then got on the train, “positioned himself behind me and repeatedly bumped his pelvis in my side,’’ the victim told cops.
“This made me feel very uncomfortable and uneasy,” she added.
Luckily, transit anti-crime cops saw the situation unfold and busted Ali, who lives in Astoria, Queens, according to sources.
But because the 49-year-old creep has diplomatic immunity, the sexual-abuse and forcible-touching charges against him were later dropped, sources said.
Ali’s wife defended him on Tuesday, saying he would never do such a thing.
“I have a good husband,’’ she said at their home. “Everything he does is good. Even in my country, he was never involved in anything like this.’’
A neighbor who translated the wife’s Arabic added, “He prays every time. He could never do that.’’
