Please send this on to your network.
Dear Friends/Colleagues,
You are invited to take part in a vigil outside the House of Commons on Wednesday 13th November 2013, to urge Parliament and the government to press the UN security Council to act on the mounting repression in Sudan by conducting an investigation into human rights violations in conflict areas, including the recent killings of unarmed protesters during the September and October uprisings. The vigil also backs specific calls on the British government to cancel all export licenses for military-related equipment and services to Sudan; and to impose a visa ban on senior regime figures, and place an embargo on their holdings, financial and trade activities in the United Kingdom.
We are also calling on friends of the Sudanese people and supporters of the pro-democracy struggle in Sudan to be actively involved in this campaign by writing to their local MP asking him/her to support these demands and to make representations to government and policy-making circles in Whitehall. You can do so copying the letter attached and inserting the name the local MP. If you don't know the name of you local MP, use the website below and entering your postal code to search for it.

If you receive a reply from your MP, would you kindly please send us a copy at the address below, so that we are better able to monitor representations on behalf the campaign.
