Re: دردشة نوبيين مع ديبورا مارتن (Re: Zomrawi Alweli)

    ‏‎Naji Ondi‎‏
We very happy to open a wide window through which we can tackle some issues. And we are more happy to host Ms. Deborah Martin, the member of the American Republican Party and the American activist so well as her concerns in African and Sudanese Civilizations...
We hope to know about her and her relationship with Sudan...

Naji Ondi Deborah MartinI am a linguist by calling and a psychotherapist by profession at present. I have worked in The Sudans since 20august1981 when my husband, the late Henry Martin, arrived in Khartoum on our way to Juba to together run a single side band radio network for SIL and the Ministry of Education of South Sudan

Ahmed Gapr My name is Ahmed Gabr, I was working in non-governmental organizations in Sudan. We have a network of organizations Nubian, always looking for a partnership with regional and international organizations for projects that we have and we need to fund, and funding is the biggest drawback in the work of non-governmental organizations: My question is how do we reach the partnership with the American non-governmental organizations??

Re: دردشة نوبيين مع ديبورا مارتن (Re: Zomrawi Alweli)

Ahmed Eltigani Sidahmed Here is one episode. Will try posting more of the text in your line. Ahmed

    119. Wishful Thinking ! (Menneyaa Menneyaa Ubortin Faaleen-n-enga HamdiKerti).

Wishful thinking! Abdullahi InbAbiElsarh and his poorly trained and equipped soldiers were driven away from the gates of Kushland like hungry goats. Since then and for centuries wheat was exchanged for Fenti-n-Aragi and slaves. Imagine a pact that trades Haram for Halal! That was many centuries Eltat-heer-Elirgy spies started to contaminate the Nubian date groves with their carnivorous defication. According to Khulud -n-Kummae (Nubian Folklore Stories) these evil visits started at the end of the 19th century. The first confirmed virus was recorded in Dinka Papyruses in 1902, but some say 1903! After a deep sigh, Khulud would say to her fans who were scattered over the soft KurkaidenSeew sandy beach: does it matter if the exact date was recorded ? She was right. Indeed, nothing matters if the master-plan was executed according to the blueprint. Gradually, the Abkan offshoots were seen picnicking under the Ultimatum Tree not far away from Durban; or being washed away by the waves of Akagera River into the Nile Basin. Khulud, the famous Nubian historian but also magician, astronomer and fortune teller, knew so much that she had to die at a very young age! Otherwise, Eltat-heer-Elirgy spies would have failed in concealing the evidence of Jerusalem's rescue by the Ku####e, the hidden agenda of Tutsi genocide or the transfer of Nubian weaponry technology to the thriving kingdom of KwaZulu-Natal. There should be no technical or chromosomal reasons for rejecting the logic of mixing Abkan bones under LakeNubia with Tutsi bones washed away by Akagera river. But who could accept feeding ninety five (95 ) million hungry goats on one thousand (1000) kilometers of prime Nubian agricultural land between Argin and Dongola? That was why nobody was at all surprised upon seeing KududNabra and SilkaSarkenMatto leading fierce battalions to free Kidintoo Jebelli , once again, from the invading goats!

Footnote: EisaErraya the mathematician recalculated the number of goats announced by the chief diplomat of Animal Farm as being 90 million and not 95 million Goats! EisaErraya may be right but at a time when goats are outbreeding rabbits an additional margin of 5 or 10 million goats is not an exaggeration!

Deborah Martin I do see the image of the "two" nations- however the Northern nation is a group of nations and at present many are being murdered by the present government. As in Egypt the sort of politics of genocide really is not good politics. Each of the subnations in
Northern Sudan, of which the Nubian people is one, needs to be respected. How to move to a government of respect seems to be the exercise at hand. Respect for language, culture, laws, life itself.

Deborah Martin I built language workshops that teach basic linguistic research skills to sudanese. I have tested these by holding some in the US. One of those workshops was attended by teams from Nubia and Beja. We worked on the alphabet and I would really like to finish the work with you all. Nurradin and Gerais also worked with me on data and what your linguist did in the late 80's before being killed. I would like to work along side to finish the work so your books can be published in your language.

Alayderoos Tagiddin The external policy of U.S.A does not know constants or variables. This is obvious seen in the middle east, how do you respond?
    منذ 9 ساعات · أعجبني · 2

Deborah Martin the policy of the US at present is based on ideas that are only 1000 years old at best-- so there is at present not respect for the ancient. There is are invisible currents that the american people are not even aware of at play-- some of the conspiracy theory people see the threads-- one has to hold onto your own respect. your people's respect- your land's respect. My great grandfather was a Cherokee Chief - the Cherokee have had to stand and hold onto their own language and culture-- and I see the cultures of Sudan having to do that too!!

Ahmed Eltigani Sidahmed I have decided to post some of the episodes I am writing under the title ( waiting for kush) . I may think of publishing once I have reached the stage of having most of the work done to maturity. An Arabic poet started helping me in translating to Arabic. I would appreciate your guidance and advise

Deborah Martin The alphabet needs to have a typeface for the computer- there must be a computer guy who is Nubian that could do this. My late husband was was the font specialist for my team and I am looking for someone to work with to do this for the many languages. If you know someone get them in touch.

Naji Ondi America calls on others the importance of democracy in ruling people. But there is ab big difference between the experience of democracy in U.S.A and the democracy in Africa, Egypt as an example, so democracy may open a big window of hell… Why don't U.S.A consider the privacy of other nations?

Deborah Martin in a simplistic way since we are on facebook--The US at one time as a group believed in the sovereignty of nations and their right to govern the way they want. Then there were some world wars and governments who made comments like, "we will bury you!" There came a place where it seemed good to figure out who were our friends and who were not. This led to policies that interfered-- our CIA has worked secretly to keep the way of life in the US alive

Deborah Martin Now also you must understand that the culture in the US and the freedom we do enjoy is a product of respect for each other via the law and fighting for rights and all sorts of factors

Khalda Hasson You had been to Sudan may be for a time, what are the characteristics of Sudanese?
    منذ 8 ساعات · أعجبني · 1

Deborah Martin in the midst of the forming maybe even forging of this culture of freedom our freedom has now led to people coming into power using games who are not so much into the free flow of ideas-- at present we have an attack on our very freedom from many directions--it is difficult-- and Nubia fighting for your freedom can actually help the on going fight for the rights of all peoples to be respected--

Deborah Martin I have a love for the Sudanese that is deep-- I remember getting on a plane from UK to Khartoum for the inauguration of Dr. John Garang-- I saw all the Sudanese moms and their children and I began to weep for joy at the warmth and care--I have 8 children and they were raised in sudan and no other place could have shaped them into the people they are today. I have roots with you all.

Alayderoos Tagiddin in 2003, America invaded Iraq. You justified that Iraq is a big store of WMD, then no WMD was found in Iraq, so this is not logical reason for attacking a state... Don't you think that is aggressive way of dealing with other nations?

Deborah Martin More than aggressive-- I was told that many of the WmD came to Sudan about then--- my question has been why Iraq and leave sudan to waltz down the path making nuclear agreements with Iran in 2005 or committing genocide on its people-- if the US isa policeman who is really making the rules--???>>> there isa major discrepancy between the picture we all see and what is pushing what for real-- Benghazi---- what was that?????
