Re: حول حيادية جامعة الدول العربية والاتحاد الإفريقي (Re: عيسي الطاهر)

About the impartiality of the League of Arab States (League) and the African Union (AU). Everyone knows of the challenge of the Government of the Sudan (GoS) of international justice and the International Criminal Court (ICC), which issued arrest warrants against Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmed Albashir (al-Bashir) Ahmad Muhammad Harun (Harun) and Ali Muhammad Abdulrahman (kushayb) and soon against defense minister Abdel Rahim Mohamed Hussein (Hussein) for committing genocide, murder and war crimes in Darfur. If the recognition of human rights and ending impunity is the lofty goal of intervention by the League to investigate violence in Syria, that objective will not be achieved, because it has entrusted the leadership of its delegation to Colonel Mohammed Mustafa al-Dabi, who is responsible of creating the pro GoS militia which is still carrying out ethnic cleansing in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile. None in the free world expect from the League or al-Dabi to take any legal or meaningful action against perpetrators of the crimes committed in Syria, because the League does not poss. authority or the mechanisms required for the prosecution of perpetrators of war crimes, and also because most members of the League, particularly the most influential States such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Qatar stand against the implementation of Justice against the perpetrators of the genocide in Darfur. Like AU the League is supporting President Omar al-Beshir, against the Sudanese people and the ICC, by providing material and moral support to al-Bashir and by inviting him to travel, although he is wanted for committing ethnic cleansing against the Fur, Masalite, Zaghawa and other African tribes. The corrupt former regimes in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Syria, supported the GoS in committing ethnic cleansing in Darfur by providing military aid or lobbying against the efforts of the international community aimed at halting genocide in Darfur and prosecution of perpetrators. Syrian people therefore must expedite request for assistance from the international community for intervention by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to stop the bloodshed and to provide protection for civilians. The UNSC is the only neutral body which can take necessary majors in order to achieve security and stability, because it has the will and the necessary mechanism for achieving international peace and security. The League should end its interference in Syria or any other country, because it is not eligible, it’s bias and should not play any role in the region. Although the dictatorships in the Middle East and east Africa were outstrip by popular uprisings, some remnants of the dictatorships regimes still enjoy wide influence in those States and at the League. The League and the AU are a like. They are both corrupt and refuse to arrest perpetrators of genocide in Darfur, on the grounds that Omar al-Bashir enjoys impunity. Both organizations endorse President Omar al-Bashir by calling on him to stay in power for eternity in order to wipeout Dafur and to avoid arrest by the ICC. Let officials of the League of Arab States and the African Union know that, they cannot protect criminals forever and legal accountability of perpetrators of crimes against humanity will eventually face justice, know that justice was served for war criminals of former Yugoslavia, where the perpetrators were arrested after 18 years of fleeing justice. The fate of tyrants and perpetrators of crimes against humanity is to face justice or get murdered like Colonel Muammar al-Gadafi.
