Dear Fathi Thanks for your message. I think you are not only confusing the reader, but you are confusing yourself. You did not answer my question. I should say, even before the current NIF- SPLM regime, the publishing of Alhoria, Alayam, and emerging of various civil society organizations in the last seven years, and establishing of secular cultural centeres inside Sudan such as Sudanese Studies Center, Abdel Karim Mirgani, Enlightenment house etc... was not a gift from NIF, it was a result of patient, and persistent of the internal resistance to the oppressive regime.Itis an honour to Warag that he was in the heart of the internal resistance.I have read most of the published copies of Alhoria ( several copies have been expropriated by NIF regime). I have to say Alhoria was the lone voice for the enlightenment and secularism in Sudan during that period. The newspaper was the most daring newspaper in addressing the ills of NIF. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN CONSPIRACY THEORY, and I have my strong doubts that NIF's regime wanted a newspaper to advocate a democratic, and secular alternative to its fundamentalist, and reactionary agends. You also keep talking without providing evidence about Alhoraia as one of NIF's institution.Do you want to convince your reader that Warag, Amal Abbas, Abu Bakr Alamin, Rabah Alsadig, Hayder Attallah,Hayder Ibrahim and all Sudanese patriots who were editors, and writers in Alhoria were NIF agents! please wake up and smell the coffee An honest analysis for a public figure like Warag would look to the history of Warag. A known political history since early 1980s. Warag was a leader in the Sudanese Communist Party from 1989-1995. He was also a leader in HAQ 1996-2005. Before he became an editor of Alhoria in 2002,unlike most people from his generation, Warag did not live the normal life, he did not go to oppose NIF from overseas, he went underground, protected by the noble people of Sudan to work against NIF, as a communist first, then as a leader in HAQ. IF you really want to reach a balanced judgement about the role of Warag, you need to look to his poltical history and contribtion to the enlightenment project, otherwise your post would be another worthless post Regards Abu Ghassan
