Allahumma Salli 3ala Alnabi ALkareem
This young girl's talent is apparent and clear
and the poems are mature beyond those precious seven years
Tasneem is undoubtedly a born poet
this is not complementary, absolutely not
i believe i do have an eye and taste for good poetry
and this is good ....very good
Poem one
weather
look at the first phrase
windy whooshing wind
unbelievable
the recurring w's she has an ear for sound
and a choice for words of sound and image
whooshing
says it all
i LOVE it
tasneem continues to talk about weather rain and play and then
a sudden twist
at line 4
trying to get home in this cold windy weather is
TREACHEROUS
what a word
what a choice of word
and the last sentence
rushing rain wind..these sound words give you the sense of the wet windy weather
MAshAllah
beyond her years
Poem 2
once a gain playing with sounds
fun fab friend
and then look at line
3
and line 4
first its only eloise and her dad and mom in a small house
but then at line 4
incredible imagination in her head
ضيق ثم اتساع
and the last verse
everyday we go to school
a normal statement aha? and then
we play a special game together which keeps you wondering
what game, what special game
this playfulness can only come from a SKILLFUL WRITER
i always wondered what advice one could give to parents of a young talent
without harming this inner talent
harming it with unnecessary courses so it may turn from gift
to decorum
and
تتحول من صنعة إلى تصنع
all i can say
give her loads of paper and pencil
take her to the library regularly
do not even instruct her choice of books
she is a smart enough girl
if competitons take you to and fro the UK
pack yr bags and follow her
i'm sorry for this intrusive advice
i'm just deeply touched
by such genious
and its been a long time since i felt i want to write
God bless you young lady
your parents
and this lovong uncle Mr haroun
(how do you think talents grow, its by proud uncles and aunts..lol)
