وسيعمل الصندوق على تعيين ستة من الشباب على أن يكونوا زملاء شباب الخاص من 1 أبريل -- 31 ديسمبر 2010.
برنامج الشباب الخاص الزمالة يتكون من 4.5 أشهر الأولي للصندوق الزمالة في المقر ، نيويورك ، تليها زمالة استمرار أشهر أخرى 4.5 في مكتب الصندوق في البلد من زملائه.
الهدف
هذا البرنامج مصمم لإعطاء الشباب من فرص البلدان النامية على المشاركة في وضع السياسات والبرامج ؛ للمساعدة في بناء قدرات الشباب ، وتوعية الشباب على حد سواء ، وموظفي الصندوق في شراكة لمعالجة قضايا الشباب والمراهقين.
خلال سير البرنامج ، سيتم الزملاء :
-- الحضور والمشاركة في صندوق الامم المتحدة والمناسبات والاجتماعات ، حسب الاقتضاء
-- إجراء البحوث وكتابة الاحالة
-- المساهمة في المشاريع والبرامج الجاري تنفيذها
-- تنظيم العرض النهائي لموظفي المقر الرئيسي للصندوق في مشاريعهم والزمالات الدراسية في المقر
-- التفاعل مع المجتمع المحلي نيويورك الشباب على الأقل في مناسبة واحدة
-- وضع العلاقة مع المكتب القطري والإقليمي وتقديم آخر المستجدات بشأن أنشطتها خلال الزمالة المقر وتوفير تحديثات إلى المقر الرئيسي خلال الزمالات الدراسية على المستويين الإقليمي أو المكتب القطري
وسوف تكون جميع المرشحين الذين تم اختيارهم المقدمة :
-- تكلفة سفر العودة من بلد المنشأ
-- المساعدة على وثائق السفر وتأشيرات الدخول
-- التأمين الصحي
-- ترتيبات الإسكان
-- بدل الإقامة (لوجبات الطعام ، وغيرها من الاحتياجات الأساسية)
-- قالت محطة العمل والوصول إلى الإنترنت
-- الفرص التي يمكن توجيههم من قبل موظفي الصندوق حول القضايا ذات الاهتمام
-- المساعدة الإدارية كما هو مطلوب
معايير المؤهلات والخبرة
يجب أن يكون لدى المرشحين خبرة البرنامج في بعض المناطق من ولاية الصندوق. وتشمل هذه المجالات : الشباب والصحة الجنسية والإنجابية والحقوق الإنجابية ، والاستجابة الإنسانية ، والسكان ، ونوع الجنس والثقافة وحقوق الإنسان ، والوقاية من فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية والحد من الفقر ، وسبل العيش المستدامة.
الأهلية
-- العمر بين 20-24 عاما. على المتقدمين الذين ولدوا قبل 1 يناير 1987 لا يمكن اعتباره. أية استثناءات.
-- الإقامة والجنسية للبلد من البلدان النامية. على المتقدمين من البلدان المتقدمة لا يمكن النظر لهذا البرنامج ، ولكنها مدعوة إلى تطبيق لبرنامج الصندوق العادية الداخلي.
-- الفائدة الثابتة وتفانيه من أجل قضايا التنمية من خلال التجارب السابقة ، أو الانتماء لشبكة الشباب أو المنظمات غير الحكومية العاملة في مجال قضايا التنمية
-- القيادة الأساسية ومهارات الدعوة
-- الفهم الأساسي للقضايا ذات أهمية بالنسبة للصندوق ، وتنظيم ما يقف ل
-- مهارات اللغة الانجليزية (الخطية والشفوية)
-- الالتزام بالعودة إلى الوطن لإجراء متابعة العمل مع الشباب
ويمكن الآن أن تقدم الطلبات. الموعد النهائي لتقديم الطلبات هو 25 يناير 2010 ، الساعة 6:00 بتوقيت نيويورك. وسيسمح فقط لهؤلاء المرشحين على القائمة المختصرة التي يمكن الاتصال. المقابلات ستجري مبدئيا في منتصف شباط / فبراير.

UNFPA will recruit six young people to be Special Youth Fellows from 1 April – 31 December 2010.
The Special Youth Programme fellowship consists of an initial 4.5 months fellowship at UNFPA Headquarters, New York, followed by a continued fellowship of another 4.5 months in the UNFPA Office in the country of the fellow.
Objective
This programme is designed to give young people from developing countries opportunities to engage in policy development and programming; to help build the capacity of young people; and to sensitize both young people and UNFPA staff on partnering to address adolescent and youth issues.
During the course of the programme, fellows will:
- Attend and participate in UNFPA and UN events and meetings as appropriate
- Undertake research and writing assignment
- Contribute to ongoing projects and programmes
- Organize a final presentation to UNFPA HQ staff on their projects and fellowships in Headquarters
- Interact with the New York local youth community on at least one occasion
- Develop a relationship with the Regional and Country Office and provide updates on their activities during the HQ fellowship and provide updates to HQ during fellowship at Regional or Country Office
All selected candidates will be provided:
- Cost of return travel from country of origin
- Assistance with travel documents and visa requirements
- Health insurance
- Housing arrangements
- Subsistence allowance (for meals and other basic needs)
- A workstation and internet access
- Opportunities to be mentored by UNFPA staff on issues of interest
- Administrative assistance as required
Qualifications and Experience Criteria
Candidates must have some programme experience in areas of UNFPA’s mandate. These areas include: young people’s sexual and reproductive health, reproductive rights, humanitarian response, population, gender, culture, human rights, HIV prevention, poverty reduction, and sustainable livelihoods.
Eligibility
- Age between 20-24 years old. Applicants born before 1 January 1987 will not be considered. No exceptions.
- Residence and nationality of a developing country. Applicants from developed countries will not be considered for this programme, but are invited to apply for UNFPA’s regular internship programme.
- Established interest and dedication to development issues through previous experiences or affiliation with a youth network or NGO working on development issues
- Basic leadership and advocacy skills
- Basic understanding of issues of importance to UNFPA and what the organization stands for
- English language skills (written and oral)
- Commitment to return to home country to undertake follow-up work with young people
