I hope this originates good start up to launch a peace initiative to resolve the conflict. I believe we have among our traditions the best base to resolve such problems certainly we would then discover that our solutions rest basically on our own hands rather than on IDAG’s hands.
The peaceful solution to any problem is an indicator, among other issues, to the degree of the civilization the community reached. Many incidents in the history of Sudan had got peaceful solution through civil societies initiatives or what we call (اجاويد ). Nevertheless, if Darofour armed movement really seeks political recognition and would like to participate in the political arena does it entail all this blood shed?. The fight in Dardfour as well as in the South is tragedy that induces panic to all Sudanese citizens furthermore, the Government has given, in the first place, the green light to Dr. Nahar’s initiative therefore, I expect, or let us say we hope, a positive response that lead to a peaceful solution to the conflict.
