Dear Nuha and everyone who worte on this post,
Hope all are doing well. I strongly agree with what everyone here thinks and says about the words used in this discussion. You are all absolutely right; freedom of expression does not necessarily mean using offensive language and means to express one's opinions. Whatever anyone believes maybe expressed and defended to others, but in a respectful manner. However, what I need to tell you is that some people just don't know any better. I am not surprised so much of what was said, because, believe it or not, the reality is that there are lots of people who really believe and think like what you've seen in the post referred to. A simple example in this case is that, whoever we're referring to here(and I don't want to mention any names) did not even take the time to respond or defend their argument, which only tell me that they do not know any better. You may not agree with me here, but I think it would've been more effective to post your opinion as a reply to was originally said and whoever feels the same way does the same, your point would have a better chance of reaching it's destination. You can not expect Bakri to do something because a lot of things were said before and for many reasons it is not easy to just earase what everyone thinks is offensive. The most effective way, I believe, is to tell your point of view to who you think needs to hear it, and repeat yourself a million times if you have to. This topic (circumcision)is a vital topic that needs to be addressed by all means, and the fact that a law was passed in Sudan against it, does absolutely nothing because it is the law of the people that matter the most. So, we do need to get to the roots of people's beliefs and change them. That is the only way.
Good luck and please do better than to leave because you represent the strong Sudanese woman who stands for what she believes no matter what.
