Dear Ustaza Sara,
When people are crippled in their empty brains, and fail to produce, they adopt such discourse, especially using Mohamed alyhi Al salat wa salam to divert attention from their criminal acts.
what is happening against Muslims in Darfur happened before in Garora and Hamsh Koreb in the East of Sudan. Their villages were burned and their mosques were destroyed, why? Didn’t they believe in Mohamed? Or the Koran taught in those mosques was of different nature of the holly book of Islam? Women were also victims; they were shot with their children and elderly by antinovel! Of course there are elements why the size of the atrocities in the East of Sudan were not highlighted in the north of Sudan or internationally, we leave this to another post insha'alla. These elements are different in a way from those in Darfur beside the rapid escalation of atrocities in Darfurand its timing. However, my point here, there is nothing changed in the ideology, mentality and behaviour of those ruling us in Sudan. The same was used in south Sudan when they declared the war is about jihad, and how the angels fought with them, they were promised to have hur ain as a reward to their strong fightings. Many of their fanatic fighters talked about al rasoul (peace upon him) visited them in hospitals while they were receiving medical care. Then again they fought against Muslims in the east with a slightly different discourse, to purify the land of massajid in the East from Garang! Now in Darfur they are trapped, they use mixed discourse, mainly supported by religious lies! I hope people are able one day to talk about the differences/different acts and discourse of Sufi Muslims and NIFers, the role of Sufi Islam in creating balance between , the extreme Islam and the Sufi Islam in the different decades of Sudanese history and how some Sufi diverted from their main ideology to join the NIF. Muna Khugali.
