هذه هي part of Mr. Richard Williamson Statement yesterday "....... I also want to comment about what happened in Nyala last night where a CHF center was burned to the ground. I visited, when I was in Nyala, in a different camp, a CHF center, and I saw the good work that was being done in training women, giving them an opportunity to earn money, through a variety of skills, from making stoves and ovens, to mats, to baskets. I saw where the large child center was, where 200 every day had a place to go and begin to learn rudimentary educational skills like alphabet. Having seen the benefit and having seen the hope in the eyes of women whom I met with and the children who I saw, just brings that much more powerfully to me the outrage of the tragic events that destroyed a center that was helping 450 women a day and 200 children, people who already were suffering because they were internally displaced because of violence for which they were innocent. The United States condemns this in the strongest possible terms, we think its important that an investigation go forth to determine the responsible parties and very importantly, it reinforces the need to bring security and stability to Darfur that reflects the need to move more rapidly for deployment of UNAMID forces, including police that can help inside those camps. It is an outrage, its unacceptable, it’s a tragedy that we must work to change. Its something I discussed with the gov’t of Sudan today, and used it to reinforce the need for us to work together to get peace keepers on the ground. The current pace of progress being disappointing and unacceptable, we are looking at specific ways to reverse the slow trend and accelerate the deployment of those that can help bring stability and hopefully prevent any repeat of the terribe violence that was done last night, that takes hope away from so many people who suffered so much already. ......"
