Dear Sharnoobi, Classification of songs is arbitarily. It means to make each type of songs specific and hence we have Agani al 7ageeba which its name is still controversial. Girl songs are written and performed by girls to talk their minds. This kind of songs is old and unique. Its history might go back to an era when singing was exclusive to women. So saying girl songs isn't necessairly discriminative. It's just meant to make things specific. thanks
