05:55 PM May, 27 2016 Sudanese Online Sudan News Agency-Khartoum-Sudan My Library Short URL Khartoum, May27(SUNA)- The Joint Mechanism between the Arab League and Government of Sudan held meeting during May 25-26 at Arab League Headquarters in Cairo and reviewed outcome of the first round of visit of the joint high-level delegation to Kuwait, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates(UAE) within framework of call for holding conference on supporting development and reconstruction in Sudan, Envoy of Arab League to Sudan, Ambassador Salah Halima told SUNA.
Ambassador Halima said the Joint Mechanism would hold meeting during coming June to make preparations for Conference on Supporting Development and Reconstruction in Sudan.
He added that the meeting deliberated of the role of the Mechanism in boosting security and stability in Darfur region and decided that this role would include South Kordufan and the Blue Nile States due to positive developments the two States have witnessed.
Ambassador Halima further added that the Mechanism deliberated over evaluation of outcome of field visit paid by the Joint Mechanism to the North Darfur State and decided paying field visits to other Darfur States for supporting development humanitarian projects there.
