Khartoum, Jan.25 (SUNA) - The Secretary General of the Council for African Political Parties, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, received in his office at headquarters of council Monday the Ambassador of Britain to Khartoum, Michael Aron, in presence of the Assistant Secretary General of the Council for African Political Parties for Regional and International Organizations, ambassador Al-Tegani Salih Fedail. The British Ambassador said in a statement after meeting that the meeting was good one and discussed important issues such as progress of the political activity in Sudan and ways for strengthening the relations between Council for African Political Parties and Europe and bolstering the relations with European Parliament. Ambassador Fedaili said that the meeting was held in response of the British Ambassador, indicating that they discussed the relations between council and Britain. He said that Nafie reviewed during the meeting relation of the Council for African political Parties with its counterparts in Asia and Latin America and affirmed the existence of chances for cooperation between council and the European political parties.
