لا شك أن السفارات الغربية في الخرطوم تقوم بالرصد الدقيق لما يجري في الخرطوم هذه الأيام بعيون أمنية وتتواصل مع دولها لتبني عليه ردود أفعالها ومواقفها مما يحدث
ولكن ماقصدته هنا هو أن السفارات الغربية لها غرفة عمليات أمنية مشتركة وتتبادل المعلومات من أجل تقييم الوضع من أجل أمن وسلامة رعاياها في السودان
وما سوف أورده هو التقارير اليومية التي ترسلها السفارات الغربية لرعاياها في الخرطوم

Update on Recent Protests
All
Here is an update on the recent protests, based on some open source reporting:
University of Khartoum Demonstrations on 16 and 17 June
Around 200 University of Khartoum students demonstrated for the second day yesterday against the government. The demonstrations started inside the main university campus in Jamaa Avenue in Khartoum and in the Faculty of Education in Omdurman. In Khartoum the students managed to reach streets near the university before being quickly dispersed by police and security forces by the usual batons and teargas.
The students chanted slogans such as the Arab Spring’s People Want the Change of the Regime and we do not Want Religion Merchants.’
However, reliable eye-witnesses said that police and security forces also used extreme violence while dispersing and chasing the students. One eye-witness saw ‘riot police’ severely whipping female students backs as they were walking by away from the demonstration.
Another eye-witness, a university staff member, said that he saw men dressed in civilian clothing come in pick-up car and break the gate of the Faculty of Extra-Mural Studies (a separate building outside the University campus), and enter the faculty where some of the demonstrating students had hid after being chased and beaten by the police in the street. The faculty member said that when the civilian-dressed men – whom he believed to be from the ‘security’ broke the Faculty’s gate they were carrying cleavers in their hands.
There have been no reports yet of any students killed or severely injured. One eye-witness said he saw one riot policeman at least hit by a brick thrown by the demonstrating students and being carried away by other policemen.
The State of Khartoum Police issued a statement which stated that they ‘contained a limited student protest at the University of Khartoum’. It added that ‘7 of those participating in the demonstrations had been arrested and criminal charges (creating riot) were opened against them.’ The State of Khartoum Police also ‘called upon citizens not to follow those who are spreading rumours and causing trouble which aims at destabilizing the country’s and citizens’ security.’

All
Another demonstration has started at Khartoum University. Police are disbursing protesters and there is a lot of movement extending from the university as far as the embassy.
The protest at the Kober bus station is over, but there are still police in the area
Avoid both areas

Protest now 200+ at the Sudan academy of banking and financial science Atbara Street. Students on the roof and around the area throwing stones. Police using tear gas and batons to disperse.

Yesterday a demo took place at ALDEIM where a woman was killed by accident by Police at the beginning of the year and where protesters recently burned Police cars. (This is presumably an area that we should flag in future.)
Today (midday/early afternoon) protest at the University of KRT
Tomorrow, the biggest demo will take place at the Sayed Abdelrahman ( Mahdi) Mosque in Omdurman .
According to the social network demos will take place on Saturday on Africa Road.
