Dear Hisham I do not know whether women can make better leaders then men. However, I believe they could be better leaders then men, especially in our continent Africa. They tend to be more honest than men. I am sure the Chilean lady is bound to succeed. I would like also to inform you that in October 2005, Africa had elected the first woman ever as the president of the tiny Republic of Liberia, a country devasted by wars for the last sixteen years, just like the Sudan. The new President is called Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf. She is being inaugrated to day in Monrovia. Let us wish her the best of luck for the sake of one of the African oldest republics, but still living in the stone ages, because of its corrupt male leadership since 1847.
