Dear Yassir Whatever Bona Malwal is saying these days cannot be taken seriously. Bona, to southerners, has been a nationalist and has a long spectacular history of struggle. However, his unfounded and unjustified enmity to Garang has made him to fall into an abyss, and lately joined the NIF camp. A true nationalist should not react in the way Bona has reacted to the dominant and charismatic personality of Garang in Southern politics. The way to fight this dominant personality, even after his death, is not to join the enemy, but to struggle with him or with his ideas on the same turf. Bona by joing the NIF has lost his support base, the South, although our hero did not live to enjoy his triumph over Bona. Bona must have watched with awe the huge reception Garang had on July 8, 2005, just 21 days before his untimely death. A serious politician like Bona should have been proud of what he saw that on that very day, a southern politician could draw a huge crowd of more than five million Sudanese, not in Juba, but in Khartoum. Apparently, this has not convinced our Bona to rethink his methods of opposition to Garang
