Dear reader: Greetings, First, thank you to the whistle blowers in Washington, D.C. and other places, for the good work. In a previous post I wrote to Saif Mustafa the following: I share your perspective on these issues. However, my personal preference is to first address the institutional, organizational and documentation issues. Then at a later stage, we can address any analytical concerns.
In another post addressed to some members of SACDO, D.C. I wrote: There are some legal and organizational issues need to be resolved, before finally resorting to procedural measures like convening conferences. Again, to Hassan Abdelnabi, who made some announcements on SACDO’s website regarding November 26-27 conference, Dabaz, Secretary of SACDO, and Dr. Siddig, President of SACDO, D.C. we would like to hear from you about this critical issue.
In a third contribution addressed to Abdalla Yousif, I wrote: Most importantly, I personally would like to hear from Magdi Osman, who lives in Oakland, CA. Magdi Osman is a key individual in establishing this organization. He is the person who communicates with the State of California, and other Federal entities. Although, Abdalla Yousif, Magdi Osman, and I share the responsibility for keeping this organization’s record straight within the 501 c (3) context, and required by law to ensure the guidelines and regulations developed by (OFAC), U. S. Treasury Department and foreign policy. But accountability cannot be shared with the same degree; I mean someone bears the ultimate responsibility. Therefore, I ask him [Magdi] to use wise judgment in resolving this organization’s intricate issues. Last, to those who question the validity of the legal, organizational and procedural issues, and insist on using analytical tools and practices that were suitable back home, or in Egypt, I would like to call their attention to the excerpt below.
Cheers, Mohamed Gadkarim
