While I was in India more than two decades ago . I used to write on a regular basis.While in Saudi Arabia I wrote some of the same essays . prose, poetry and pamphlets.
During my stay in the USA for eight years I wrote some of my autobiography which was enriched with incidents and details as I was working in a very open society at the third largest airport in the world . I have a series of prose called "My Customers'. As a cab driver , I had very unique experiences to talk and to know more about such an open American society . I was real "Khawaga" , a White native of Western Countries) in the country of "Alkhawagat" (plural of alkhawaga). I was always appreciated by my regular customers for respecting time and accuracy .That's in the side of writing in English, at the same time I wrote regularly in Arabic with little publication of my work , I wish I could have been one of the group of "Sudanese Writing In English". My collection of written work expresses and enriches moral, social and political ideas.
Actually , what I'm trying to write is regarded as a part of contemporary history and literature . By the way , I love history as it lets us evaluate and recall all the good and evil memories and the stuff of people's lives in the past and the present . History and literature are indeed the stuff of life. They're the LIfe itself.

My Grandma is Out of the Range

My essay is about my GRANDMA "Haboobah", who passed away a week ago. It's not a matter of criticism , but I believe everyone will have same situation of experience one day .The purpose here is how we should deal kindly with older people , and to be aware of these situations in future , it's a part of our Islamic beliefs.
She passed away safely as she was always asking our Almighty "Allah" to have an easy departure from the life and she had that , thanks Allah, I hope I will have the same.
Two years after my beloved mother died , almost two decades ago , as a result there was a big shock accured , that my Grandma was out of the range , because she was very sad for my mother departure. On the contrary, I didn't cry for the sudden departure of her , I believe tears don't help the dead people in their graves . This is according to our Islamic thoughts . My Grandma was a very aggressive person . she never talk nonsense . but she argued with everybody . Although she very respected and passionate (may Allah forgives her and us), she used to dislike the children . Even her kids as well , she used to avoid touching them although she was the one who gave birth to them . She used to take them with the piece of cloth , just like today's modern baby chair , including her first baby "my mama".
The reason for this is that both her father and husband were very richmen . She lived a luxuriant life and as a result , she was very tough when dealing with the kids and her two married women of my Grandpa .
There was no way to divoce her as a part of the conservative traditions of our society ,as she was the next skin to him . Besides that, there're a lot of reasons that made her tough . One of these reasons is that she lost her daughter , while she was away from her the news was very shocking . My mama was her eldest child .
In the end of my essay , please let me pass my gratitude on her obeyed daughter (my mother in law) , and who is my aunt for her great patience to host , devote her efforts and time to serve her .(although she is her mother) for all these years till she died a week ago as a part of obedience , my aunt fought for her favour against her frausterated sons , dughters and relatives whom can't endure her various demands , questions and attitude of self love , nobody should blame her despite of her age and everybody is suppose to be the same when they get old . She always needed everything to be ready , food , tea , praying rug "tagaroogah " etc. She thought she was a princess , some people around her and relatives couldn't understand the nature and the matter of being an old woman/man.
I was fighting with my kids and those people during my vacations back home.she was a very sensitive and passionate person who lost her best a long time ago . For that she got shocked by the lost of my mother.
Let me send my thanks to my brother sideeq who is still a very passionate person like his Grandma for being admired by her as he was taking care of her after my mother passed away . He was touring with her around different cities where our relatives live. She sang wonderful folksongs for him, his kindness , his life and his future wife . He did his very best to let her forget the bitterness of loosing my mama", if I was him I wouldn't do what he did . He did great deeds for her, I have been absent from my homeland since 1987 as a single victim of thousands and thousands around the world due to the craziness of different homeland governments who put this country in such critical positions and diversity......
السفرة التودر جملك So the "plot" of his essay is that the great and loved one who is absent today from our scene ,who raised me and others in our family and who encouraged and devoted her age for us "may almighty Allah firgives her and me", the plot that we have the justification for her to lose her popular one's , she was out of the range . We missed her may Allah forgives her and us too.
