It is noteworthy that the Sudanese shepherd - at the age of 48 years - has been working in the service of this Saudi family for more than 23 years, and he went to on vacation to his country Sudan only 3 times, and continued to receive a salary less than two hundred dollars all that period and he continued to serve this family in Saudi Arabia - Vdegm family - until they had reached very old Age.
(Om Vdegm) the older wife - 99 years - had been informed the newspaper (Al Hayat Saudi newspaper): «God suffices, and yes, the agent of injustice to him, Ibrahim did not cause me and my husband any harm, disease and the pain hit me and the paralysis of my husband is from God», stressing she and her husband (108 years) are very confident of the innocence of the shepherd, and a maliciousness communication made by one of their relatives « for unknown reasons» has been sent to the (Commission to Promote Virtue and Prevent Vice).

She continued: « he lived with us and I was washing his clothes and cook for him with a help from my daughter, I deal with him as one of my sons and part of the family, has a special place in my heart, through this 23 years we did nor receive any harm from him or even failure on his job, he was always honest and truthful, he keep watching us all the night, protecting us and protect our sheep from the assault and robbery, and I ask my husband often to increase his monthly salary to 700 Riyals ( 200 US $) because he deserves that », pointing out that he traveled to his country during the period he spent with them only 3 times.
Also the Son of the family - Vdegm (61 years) - , deemed the shepherded might be a sponsor of any kind of the magic had been applied on his family «because he always remember God, used to pray on time , and did not realize him is a cause for any doubt or suspicion because no one used to visit him at all for magic purposes or any reasons for the past 23 years he spent with the family», wondering: « The Shepherd does not know how to read and write, how he will write a Magical Curse ?»
He was astonished that the Men of the (Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice) raided the residence of the family and the withdrawal of the shepherd without taking permission from his father, or even tell him about the reason for the arrest.
