hello every one
in one of my visits to Musum of fine art in Boston which is couple miles from our home ,
that was not the first time we visit the musum ,but was the first time I noticed this
nubian queen someone was explaining to us about her
the big question came to my head was how do they got these things?? and I asked ..the answer was very quick " they sold them to us..I mean the gov of that countries sold them,, we bought them
he was smiling
as if he is saying how stupid they are!!he wasn't knowing that Iam nubian too
I said inside me with a pity voice "ya ..how stupid we are"
how much can they pay if they want it back"?
he replied with a surprice on his face these are very valueable ..they can't buy them back ..
I replied ..so the only way is to steal them too I smiled

This gold pectoral, overlooked by the thieves who plundered the royal tombs at Nuri, represents "the winged goddess Isis, holding an ankh (symbol of life) in her right hand and what may represent the hieroglyph for a sail (symbol of the breath of life) in her left. Twenty Nubian kings and fifty-four queens were buried at Nuri between the mid-seventh and the late-fourth centuries B.C. The mummified bodies were placed within nested sets of gilded wooden coffins inlaid with colored stones. The mummies wore gold amulets, gold finger and toe caps, and probably gold face masks. This pendant would have been sewn onto a bead net draped over a king’s mummy. Cut into the bedrock beneath the pyramids, the royal tombs were excavated by the Harvard"
