Men are service oriented and feel in charge. so the first thing they do is try to punish women by their silence. they know that women are life oriented and can multi- task. Women can do more than one thing at the same time
I was listening to the results of a research done to see how much of house work does each sppouse actually do. it was really interesting how men and women described what they were doing. they were asked to record what they were doing throughout the day. at the same block of time the husband recorded,"I was having a cup of coffee in the kitchen and talking to my wife." of course the first impression is that his wif was sitting at the same table looking at him. as it turned out the wife was preparing breakfast for the kids and making lunches for them to take to school, tidying the place etc... while also engaging in a conversation with her husband. she did it so well that he did not even notice what she was doing.
women's actions are usually subordinated and taken for granted, while men's actions are noted as important and call for praise.
women want what they do to count for something and to be treated as a political action.
just look at the women who fled and are fleeing war zones. they keep families together, keep the orphans, keep the culture , keep the markets open and even provide jobs for the few men who remain around by producing crafts and food for them to sell. have you ever heard anyone labeling such acts as political and peaceful and qualify women to be part of the peace process?

I know that your message is a romantic one, however i think it addresses women in their various capacities.
