I would give my thumps up! Tigraionline, the DAM is not controversial for Ethiopia and Ethiopians. Why I say this؟ well, Ethiopian owns the water. The water is Ethiopian God given natural resources like the oil in Saudi Arabia,Kuwait, Iraq, and like the gas in Egypt. Saudi, ... will not give you free oil and neither does Egypt can give you free gas or free pass through the Suez canal. According to the UN charter of rights, any resources that is in the sovereign Territorial jurisdiction of that country belongs to that country. As such Blue Nile is Ethiopian private property. Ethiopia did not need to enter into dispute with Egypt. But as always, woyanes love dragging Ethiopia everywhere because of incompetence. Now you even think it is controversial for Ethiopia ؟ why؟ it is because you do not know Ethiopian right. Do you know India built 3200 DAMS along the Indus river that flows to down stream Pakistan؟ Do you know South Africa buy the water of Lesothu river that naturally flows from Losethu mountains to South Africa؟ Do you know Turkey owns the river tigris, Euphrate that flows to Syria and Iraq؟ Do you know the president of Turkey told to Egypt the Blue Nile belongs to Ethiopia؟ He explained to Egypt that theTigris and Euphrate belongs to Turkey. Do know what Egyptians said؟ Ethiopian is not Turkey؟ why ؟ because Ethiopia has no leaders and is weak. As such there is no controversy but there is incompetence in Ethiopia because Ethiopians do not know their right because they do not read, learn, and know their right.

I don't agree at the conclusion of your comments bcz you failed not to mention the reason why controversial for Ethiopia ؟ the reason is Not incompetence but its the mess which was left the previous leaders such as Haileslasie . Haileslasie has signed twice during colonial era not to touch ABAY and he said I'm not touching ABAY only God will touch. This agreement was handicapped the recent leaders that's it become controversial for Ethiopia not incompetence. The study was lead by bright with competence of world leader mind class of late PM Meles.

What you are talking is right. But you did not understand one thing. That is the turks have a strong unity on their national interest what ever their political ideological difference. But when you come to Ethiopians we as a whole unable to differentiate between national interest. In the previous political parties like Jebha, Shabiya, EPRP, TPLF, EDU and OLF were using the national interst for their political game. That is they were working with Egypt and somalia against Derg and now OLF, Gunbet-7, OBNEG and others are working with Egypt and Eritrea against EPRDF. This is what makes controversial. Not lack of education our peasant is the most supporter of the construction of Abay dam but AL Mariyam the proffessor in USA is number one to oppose the construction of the dam.

Appreciated this message. Good concept and understand for all of us including our government. I do believe that our leaders understand this truth, too. I appreciated the answer given by Turkey government. Now the question is we, Ethiopians: could we stand together at least by this historical time؟ Let walk together now and we will back to our questions, wishes etc after we finish our dam. A huge question stands infront of us this time. Are we making Egypt happy and we devided into pieces؟ or we really reunited as a children of one family؟ then win our historical enemy.
All Ethiopians, I will bring some unique idea to you next time about the Blue Nile what the words of God/the bible/ says.

The Arabs are infighting; Ethiopia is building a big dam on a Nile that has a big impact on one of the major country in the Arab world, Egypt. At this stage Ethiopia should stay away from Arab political Saga. Ethiopia should strength military relation with Israel without offending the Arabs. A year ago I comment how the oil price is going to impact the Arab countries economy and Ethiopia should stick to far east and west Europe economy. Today the result is obvious. Economically, Ethiopia should set up a trade mission in its embassy in neighboring countries like Kenya, Sudan, south Sudan, Djibouti and Somalia. This trade mission task has to be to set up campiness that buys Ethiopian products to sell in those countries. These companies can be owned by either by Ethiopian and or by local citizens of that country. Ethiopia should set up about 100 such companies that are importing from Ethiopia. This kind of approach will give Ethiopia to control the major business in those countries but also gives ample opportunities for local producers to export. This campaign has to be intensified the next five years if Ethiopia’s industrialization to take root based on export. This effort should be underway in Somalia right now because Somalis is turning around and with its large diaspora population Somalia will become a vibrant economy very soon. Ethiopian business people should start to step companies right now. Funnily Saudi araba and Iran will go after each other until they are not any more threat to Israel and Egypt will be next in the agenda in Washington after Iran and Saudi Arabia conflict sets in to make sure any military threat to Israel is eliminated. USA is in this project to eliminate any threat to Israel in the long run and to bring down any monarchy in the Middle East to replace it by elected officials. The control of the oil economy by USA is the beginning what is going to come in the Middle East. Ethiopia should stay out of it and work on building its
economy and military strategically to come out on top
