We request the immediate release of Mr. Alhussain
Join the campaign to release Mr. Waleed Aldod Almaki Alhussain, 43 year old from the Saudi Arabian detention.
The Saudi Arabian securities and police entered Mr. Alhussain's house in the city of Alkhobar in July 23rd, 2015 and confiscated his passport, computer and cell phone, including his wife's.
We request the immediate release of Mr. Alhussain, especially that it came to our knowledge that he will be transferred from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the most notorious government of Sudan whose record of grave human rights violation is widely documented by the international community including the United Nations, the International Criminal Court, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.
The problem is that Mr. Alhussain has not broken any Saudi Arabian or international laws and he should have never been arrested. Mr. Alhussain is innocent of the charge of being an editor of the online opposition newspaper of Alrakooba, a charge which he completely denied. Instead Mr. Alhussain named the editors he knew about. Accordingly, Mr. Hussein is not causing any danger to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Sudan for that matter. Mr. Alhussain is a rational and peaceful civilian who never had a criminal record and have healthy support network world-wide, and hence does not pose any danger to the public or regime of any country.
We are frightened that if Mr. Alhussain is transferred to Sudan, he will soon be tortured to death with the help of no lawyers. We are kindly calling on the Saudi Arabia to immediately release him from this unlawful imprisonment and prevent his fatal transfer to Sudan.
