Re: هل يستخدم حزب الله السلاح مجددا بعد هزيمته المدوية فى لبنان؟ (Re: هشام المجمر)

Dear Mohamed Dear Mohamed We can agree or disagree in analyzing the Lebanese election. As a person who has lived in Lebanon before, and currently live in Lebanon, I think the two alliances have moderates , and extermists among them. Also the two alliances were based on sectarin support. And, as usual in the Lebanese politics, some circles in the two alliances have strong, or weak ties with Arab, and Foreign powers( Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, France, and the USA). Infact some of them in the Lebanese Forces had a known tie with Israel during the civil war. My concern here is your schocking comment where you had endorsed publicly the Turkish genocide against the Armenians. You need to know that the Lebanese Armenians who represent about 5% of the Lebanese population are Lebanese first, and have lived in Lebanon for more than 90 years. They have participated positively in the Lebanese political, and economic life. Itis worthmentionining that the Armenians played also a major
. role in establishing the Marxists factions of the Lebasnese left in 1920s The political tactics, and alliances of the main Armenian party, the Tashnag, shouldn't be a reason to justify the horrible genocide, and attrocities committed against Armenians by the Ottomans, and Ataturk. After all,Itis morally wrong to endorse , or justify a genocide against any ethnic, or racial group. We should all denounce genocides, and crimes against humanities
whether committed by the Nazis, Hutu militias, Turkish authorities,Israeli authorities, Saddam Hussein, or the Sudanese authorities. Regards
