 مقتل 3 جنود إسرائيليين وجرح العديد في كمين

أفادت مصادر خاصة للجزيرة بأن المقاومة قتلت ثلاثة جنود إسرائيليين وأصابت ثلاثين آخرين بجروح في المواجهات التي جرت مساء الاثنين على عدة محاور في قطاع غزة . وأضافت المصادر أنه تم استدراج وحدة إسرائيلية خاصة إلى منزل ملغم في المنطقة الشمالية من القطاع ثم قام رجال المقاومة بتفجيره.

The Golani Brigade suffered heavy casualties on Monday when three soldiers were killed and another 24 were wounded, including the brigade commander and a battalion commander, as an errant tank shell hit their position in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to reports, a force from Golani's 13th Battalion came under heavy mortar fire in Saja'iya and entered a nearby home for cover. A short while later, an errant IDF tank shell hit the home, which collapsed on the force. Col. Avi Peled, commander of the brigade, and Lt.-Col. Oren Cohen, commander of the battalion, were wounded and evacuated. An earlier suspicion that the home was booby-trapped and the ensuing explosion caused the casualties has been ruled out.
The fighting lasted several hours as IDF artillery pounded the area and helicopters evacuated the wounded. The clashes marked the first time the IDF extended its ground operation into a densely populated area. Meanwhile, another 12 IDF soldiers were wounded throughout the day in exchanges of fire with Hamas gunmen in the northern Gaza Strip. They were evacuated for medical treatment.
