Topic: Honouring Mrs. Awadeya Mahmoud Chair of Women’s Multi-Purpose Cooperative with the 2016th International Women of Courage Award We extend our Heartfull thanks to this positive and important step from your side to appreciate the struggle of the women of our country and stimulate their work and tell them strongly : (We Care ) We treat this award given to the Mrs. Awadeya Mahmoud as an acknowledgment for the courageous and innovative work of her and her fellows, and an encouragement for the forgotten women living under the shadows of injustice and discrimination. This award for Mrs. Awadeya would empower women living in a state that neglects their rights and role in life and society . It is also a strong support for the efforts of our people to achieve peace, freedom and their basic rights. We believe that women's liberation is the liberation of the whole society, thus empowering and encouraging women is a great push into the tremendous development of humans and humanity towards more humane and progressive world. As much as we appreciate your initiative , we assure you our support for the rights of women, youth and marginalized segments of the society. We are aware that exclusion and marginalization of any part of society is one of the reasons that keep our communities under the cruel conditions of ignorance, backwardness and poverty. As I send this letter of appreciation, I believe that it represent a large segment of women and youth not only members of the Liberal Democratic Party, but also many conscious and progressive people of our country.
Best regards, Dr. Ibrahim Nageeb Acting President Liberal Democratic Party, Sudan 30 of March 2016
