Khartoum, Nov. 13 (SUNA) The First Vice President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih will address the first national conference for the environment issues and the promotion of the urban conduct, to be organized by the organizations and the voluntary work general secretariat of the Sudanese Youth National Union, in cooperation with the Environment Supreme council and Khartoum Cleaning Authority during the period 25-30 of current November at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum.
The organizations secretary of the Sudanese Youth Union, Dr. Musa Mohamed Toum noted in statement to SUNA, following his meeting with the Director General of Khartoum Cleaning Authority, Dr. Mousa'ab Birier has been briefed on the latest arrangements for holding the conference.
He pointed out that the conference aims at introducing the youth role in the environment issues and enhancing the community role in the public issues, adding that a number of scientific papers related to the environment issues will be presented during the conference , besides the launching of the initiative of "my environment my life", and the Japanese donation.
A number of the relevant institutions and the states will take part in the conference.
Meanwhile, the Director General of the Khartoum Cleaning Authority has commended the role of the union and its participation in all the national and social issues.
