An Intervew with /Ustaz Actor Alsamani Lual
Q- Wellcome ustaz Alsamani.

A-Thanks for having me today in our new blog called Junubinonline .I really apriciated your invitation.

Q-Tell us about yourself.

A- Iam called Alsamani lual Aro from Dinka Bor, I graduated from the high institute of music and drama in Khartom 1984.Especiallized in acting and directing .

Q- What are your achivments as an artist.

A- well, no artist anywhere in the world that would talk about his or her artistic achivements but it is the others,critics and the entire public (the comsumers) that have the right to say a word or two about any artistic achivements of the person in question, and the public back home will answer our achivements.In short i was a member of Alsadeem theater group from 1980 to 1990 .In Alsadeem i had the privilege of meeting the best performative artists across the country.For examples,Yahya Fadlala,Gasim Abuzeid,Alsir Alsaid,Abdalla Alshamashi,Derek Alfred, just to mention a few

Q-Can you tell us about Kwoto.

A-Kwoto was a dream.A holy dream that kept nagging me all through my life God rendered me a good person a southerner and artist.That was Derek Alfred, we started it me and Dereke and Steven Afair 1993.It was a dream that came true.

Q-What is the meaning of Kwoto.

A-Kwoto is a Toposa word that means in short . Comeing together. It's a long story .The glory of this meaning and the word is that.It's a value that persuades ,and encourage people to come together and build a country that belongs to all,In Didinga language it means Koto lets go as a people .

Q-What does Kwoto consist of.

A-If the question means that who are there or who are the people making it in Kwoto then i will say It is everyone that have the artistic abilitys and the will to be on theater.

Q-In my question what are the bounderies Kwoto performs

A-Kwoto is an artistic frame that was ment to inhance and uphold the sudanese cultures, Anyone is welcomed there.only one condition, the artistic abilites and adhernet to the fact that sudan is and has been and shall be a multicultural country To keep it as it is,1 means you don't have to be a hardliner in whatever field of social ,political ,cultural and artistic endeavour.

Q-Why did you leave Kwoto؟

A-I did not leave Kwoto.Kwoto did not leave me it is just a matter of politics on the ground it was good for kwoto for me to go away personally you know Sudan.Today i read in the Sudan tribune
that the citizen newspaper was arrested by the security agencies gusse what؟The security wanted them to publish and information of political killing in southern sudan that never happened ,when the editer demanded his paper to verify the govenrment information on the ground by themselves just to keep there journalistic.pride and accurracy, they banned him and arrested the intire paper . this is the country i left more than ten years ago and this is the country that is still going on up to now thats why i'm out of the country
