50th Anniversary Undergraduate Scholarships at University of East Anglia in UK, 2014
University of East Anglia offers 50th Anniversary Scholarships for international (usually non-EU resident) students. Total 53 scholarships are awarded to cover 50% of the first year’s tuition fee (ranging in value from £6,150 to £7,450 depending on course). Science applicants applying for a degree in the areas of Actuarial Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computing Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Energy Engineering and Mathematics will also be automatically considered for a Faculty of Science scholarship if they are unsuccessful in receiving a 50th Anniversary scholarship. The application deadline is 28 April 2014.

Students are eligible to apply for the scholarship if they have been offered a place to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of West London, commencing in September 2014. The Department for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at University of Geneva is inviting applications for PhD fellowship in the area of physical chemistry of polymers. In particular, the current project will focus atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies of the mechanics of polymers on the single molecule level. Earliest starting date is June 1, 2014, or as agreed. Applicants must have masters or diploma in chemistry, physics, or chemical engineering, to be eligible for this fellowship. Experience with AFM and/or knowledge in computer programming represents an advantage.

Auckland University of Technology offers various Vice-Chancellor doctoral scholarships for New Zealand citizens and permanent residents of New Zealand and international students. Scholarships are available for up to three years and each scholarship is worth in total approximately $96,000. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The scholarship is open to applicants who are qualified to register for full-time study in a doctoral degree at AUT. Successful applicants will be notified approximately six to eight weeks after the closing date. The application deadlines are 17 April 2014 and 15 November 2014.
