Workers in Blue Nile State have filed a case against the Sudanese Labourers Union, demanding their full salaries.
The Blue Nile branch of the Labourers Unionandnbsp;began deducting SDG5 ($0.80) from the more than more than 20,000 state workers' salaries in 2011, “without asking our prior permission”, an angry employee reported to Radio Dabanga.
“They did so in order to build a hotel at the Union's venue in the capital of Ed Damazin,” he explained. “The case we filed against the Union has not been adjudicated yet.”
