Khartoum, Feb.16 (SUNA) - The Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof . Ibrahim Ahmed Omer has revealed that the Assembly has extended an invitation to a number of US Congress men to visit Sudan next April . Omer said in the press conference held , Tuesday, in the Parliament on the visit of the National Assembly to the US has achieved its goals . He said the delegation has discussed with the US side a number of issues including the sanctions imposed on Sudan by the US which affect, negatively, on the Sudanese people, the National Dialogue, Sudan's relations with the State of South Sudan besides the situations in Darfur and South Kordufan . The Assembly Speaker described the visit as more successful than the previous on as it reviewed a number of issues that concern the US side . IF/IF
