Khartoum, Sep. 19 (SUNA) - The Director of the Centre for Conflicts Analysis and Peace Studies, affiliated to Omdurman Islamic University, Dr. Rashid Al-Tigani Suleiman, pointed out Sudan was able to achieve a diplomatic gain through its participation in the 17th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement concluded it sittings Sunday in Venezuela, explaining that this diplomatic gain was represented in the summit's welcome to the initiative of President Omer Al-Bashir on national dialogue. He said in a statement to SUNA that the political gain achieved by Sudan included the summit's call on all the Sudanese parties to join the national dialogue. Dr. Suleiman indicated that the summit's welcome to the national dialogue and its call on the opposition parties to join it are supporting to the Sudanese national dialogue. He said that Sudan participation in the Non-Aligned Movement's summit has reflected openness of the Sudanese diplomacy and its increasing role at the regional and international levels. He called for more strengthening to Sudan's foreign relations, especially with the Non-Aligned Movement countries.
