Atbara, Dec. 22 (SUNA)- The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has instructed all the officials in the state to do their best for handling the citizens' issues and restoring fully their rights. Addressing Thursday a mass rally at Mulid Square in Atbara city, Nahral-Neil State, President Al-Bashir affirmed the government commitment to establish new railways and to provide new locomotives and carriages toward boosting the transport of people, exports and imports. President Al-Bashir was visiting Atbara city to inaugurate the second stage of the electricity power line between Gaili - Shendi - Atbara, besides an electricity transformer station in Atbara. He stressed the government commitment to provide and to enhance the services in the towns and rural areas toward guaranteeing social justice for all people. He called for utilization of the electricity power to increase the productivity and realizing a major economic and industrial progress in the country. President Al-Bashir also affirmed the government seriousness to enhance the food security projects and to supply electricity power to the urban and rural areas. He expressed his confidence in the keenness of the Wali (governor) of Nahral-Neil State and his government to live up to the challenge of enhancing the health, education and water services in the state. He stated that the projects of electricity power in Nahral-Neil State will pose a qualitative change in the life of the citizens of the state. Meanwhile, the Minister of Energy and Mining, Dr. Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz, also addressed the mass rally announcing that the electricity power line between Gaili - Shendi - Atbara and the electricity transformer station in Atbara city represented the outset for a host of developmental and services' accomplishments all over Nahral-Neil State. He lauded all the national cadres and foreign companies which contributed to implementation of the big electricity power project, which is anticipated to boost the peace process and the social stability. The Wali (governor) of Nahral-Neil State, Ghulam-Eddin Osman, has stressed the commitment of his government to provide a good model for social, political and developmental work for the interest of the state's citizens.
