Khartoum, Nov. 12 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir has lauded the relations that links Sudan with sisterly Nigeria. This came when the President received the credentials of the new Nigerian Ambassador to Sudan at the Republican Palace Saturday in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Lam Akol. President Al-Bashir expressed Sudan's appreciation for the role that is being carried out by the Nigerian President, Obasanjo, and his government towards Abuja negotiations for realizing peace and stability in Darfur. Meanwhile, the Ambassador described the relations between the two countries as strong and deep-rooted, and affirmed his keenness on consolidating them further in the various domains. HH/BT
