Neyala, NOV. 10 (SUNA)- US Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick arrived in Neyala Thursday on a one-day visit to South Darfur State. Mr. Zoellick was received upon arrival at Neyala Airport by the Wali (Governor) of South Darfur State, Eng. Al-Haj Attalmannan, and members of his government and representatives of international organizations and the African Union Mission. The US Deputy Secretary of State met at the premises of the African Union Mission in Neyala with the commander of South Darfur State Mission, where he was briefed on the tasks of the mission and its deployment in the state and the violations that happened in the last period. Mr. Zoellick leaves Neyala after the visit to Juba to meet the Government of Southern Sudan. BT/BT
