Taha Discusses Implementation of East Sudan Agreement Implementation
Khartoum, Nov. 3 (SUNA) - Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Wednesday reviewed with the Assistant of the President of the Republic, Musa Mohamed Ahmed, progress of the implementation of eastern Sudan peace agreement along the ongoing arrangements for holding of the International Conference for East Sudan Development, scheduled for early next December in Kuwait
Assistant of the President said in a statement to SUNA following his meeting with the Vice President in his office at the Council of Ministers Wednesday that the meeting tackled means of supporting implementation of the agreement
He added that Taha gave directives for intensifying contacts with the organizations and donor countries through visits toward guaranteeing extensive participation in the conference
