High Level JEM Delegation Visits Europe :

JEM top level personnel have just completed their visit to Europe .   Personnel arriving from Darfur Liberated Zone are Ahmed Adam Bakheit and Abu Bakar Hamid.   Mr. Bakheit, Head of Mission is President of JEM and Secretary of Darfur Sector. Mr. Hamid is Secretary for Management and Administration of JEM.

The aim of the visit is to brief European partners for peace in Sudan on various matters including: current peace process and its future prospects, Unity of Darfur Movements, implementation of the CPA and the Doha Good Will Agreement, Return of international NGOs to Darfur, UN sponsored oil for food in Sudan, Efforts of JEM to end marginalisation in Sudan, ICC arrest warrants and the indivisibility of peace and justice in Darfur .

Meetings, workshops and seminars conducted included the following;

آ·         Sudan Focal Point Conference in Germany

آ·         Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Germany , France and Holland

آ·         French Communist Party

آ·         Sudanese Associations, civic organisations and prominent Darfur leaders in Germany , France and Holland

آ·         Parliamentarians in the visited in countries

آ·         Sudanese Democratic Platform in the Hague

آ·         Media outlets including Radio Monte Carlo, Radio Dabanga, Radio France, Sudan Tribune..

آ·         Head Quarters of Radio Dabanga and meeting with its General Manager

آ·         Embassies of the USA and Egypt .

It is to be noted that JEM delegation also included prominent JEM leaders in Europe including: Dr. Haroon Abdel Hameed, Political Advisor to President of JEM; Saif Aldoula Kuku, Head of Foreign Offices of JEM; Ahmed Hashim Andosa and Abdel Rahman Mohamed Ali of JEM Office in Germany; Alsadiq Yousif, Head of JEM Office in France and Deputy Secretary for the Central Region; Baroud Hasan Sabeel, Head of JEM Office in Holland and; Mohamed Targoni of Germany.
