Agreement Signed for Implementing Agricultural Food Security Project in Sennar State at Cost of 200 Million Dollars
Khartoum, Jan. 17 (SUNA)- Furas Development Company and the Government of Sudan have signed an agreement for implementing the Agricultural Food Security project at the cost of 200 million dollars and at an area of 300,000 feddans. This project which will be established at Sennar area is considered the biggest of its kind at the area of east Africa. Modern agricultural systems will be applied in the Agricultural Food Security Scheme. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Agriculture in Sennar State, Rudwan Mohamed Ahmed, and the Executive Director of Furas Development Company, Hatim Mukhtar. MO/MO
