Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives Qazi
Khartoum, Aug. 11 (SUNA) - Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mutrif Sideek, received Tuesday at his office the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Sudan, Ashraf Qazi. Qazi said in a statement to SUNA that he conveyed congratulations to the Government of National Unity and the two partners of Naivasha peace agreement over the arrangements taken with regard to the administration of Abyei area, considering it as positive developments. He added that the meeting further reviewed the latest developments in Sudan. He pointed out that he would present his quarterly report on Sudan to the Security Council in the coming days. MF/ BT
