Tanzanian President visits Sudan
Khartoum, Sept. 7 (SUNA)- Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete, the current Chairman of the African Union, arrived in Khartoum Sunday on a two-day official visit to Sudan during which he will hold talks with President of the Republic Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir on bilateral relations and the issue of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Minister of Foreign Affairs Deng Alor pointed out in a press statement that the visit comes in the context of the African Union's efforts concerning asking the Security Council to defer the ICC decision for a year to enable the government to solve Darfur problem.
