Presidential Advisor receives Egyptian Ambassador
Khartoum, Aug. 10 (SUNA) - The Presidential Advisor, Dr. Al-Sadig Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi, has reaffirmed the strong Sudanese-Egyptian relations and the keenness of the two countries to strengthen the integration between the governments and peoples of the two sisterly countries. This came when Dr. Al-Mahdi received at his office in the Republican Palace Sunday, the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Abdul-Moniem Al-Shazali. The Presidential Advisor said the recent visit to Egypt by the Vice-President, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha and his meetings with a numbers of Egyptian leaderships has coped with the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries. Meanwhile, the Egyptian Ambassador reaffirmed the deeply rooted Sudanese-Egyptian ties that have been witnessing continuous progress in various domains. He said the two sides have underscored the importance of boosting the political and economic relations linking Sudan and Egypt. IF/BT
