Arab committee on Darfur meets in New York
Doha, Sept. 25 (SUNA) - The Arab committee set up to reach settlement to the problem of Darfur held a meeting at the ministerial level Wednesday evening at the residence of the Qatar Permanent delegation to United Nations in New York. The meeting was chaired by the Qatari Prime Minister, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabr Al-Thani, and attended by a number of African Foreign Ministers as well as the Joint United Nations-African Union Chief Mediator for Darfur Djbril Bassole. The meeting discussed arrangements for realizing comprehensive peace in Darfur. IF/BT
