Darfur 24 Hour Vigil
To express our disappointment and disgust regarding the slow reaction from
the UN and the international community to the plight of the innocent people
of Darfur.
To emphasize to the UN and the international community its moral
responsibility and obligation in protecting the innocent civilians in
Darfur.
To express our outrage at the slaughter of innocent people and the degrading
insult of this behaviour to our humanity - especially if you are Sudanese.
Come and join us to express your disgust of the criminal act of the
government Sudan in Darfur
Come and Join Us for:
A Hunger Strike,
Lighting of Candles,
Voicing of your concerns,
An Interval of Group Silence, Singing and Collecting of Signatures.
The Submission of a petition to the UN.
Plus any other suggestions from the participants on the day, which will
illuminate the horrific and willful neglect of Darfur people.
