The Tyson's strike in Canaada appears to be over-a tentative settlement has been reached that will be voted on by the members on Friday
Forcing Tyson to accept a first contract is a tremendous acheivement. The workers now have their own organization, can select their own shop stewards, got raises and job protections and increased safety measures.
I want to thank you all very much for your assistance. I hope this leads to other organizing successes at Tyson and other meatpacking companies in the coming period.
