أعلنت هيئة قناة السويس المصرية، أنه اعتبارًا من منتصف شهر يناير المقبل سوف تتم زيادة رسوم العبور العادية بنسبة تتراوح من 5-15%، حيث أعلنت الهيئة عبر موقعها الإلكتروني بأنه سوف يتم رفع الرسوم بنسبة 15% على ناقلات البترول الخام ومشتقاته البترول بشكل عام بالإضافة إلى ناقلات الغاز البترولي المسال والغاز الطبيعي المسال وحاملات السيارات وناقلان المواد الكيميائية بكل أنواعها.

وأوضحت الهيئة أيضًا أن هناك رفع رسوم بنسبة 5% للعبور العادية لكل من سفن البضائع العامة وسفن بضائع الصب الجاف والسفن الاخرى، مع التأكيد على إعفاء السفن القادمة من موانئ شمال غرب أوروبا والمتجهة مباشرةً الي موانئ الشرق الأقصى.

وتتوقع الدولة المصرية زيادة إيرادات قناة السويس الي 10 مليارات دولار في نهاية عام 2024، حيث أعلن المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أنه وفقًا بيان حركة الملاحة بالقناة التي تم عرضها علي الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتضح أن حركة الملاحة وأعداد السفن المارة بقناة السويس قد زادت بنسبة 17.6% مقارنة بالعام السابق بالإضافة الي زيادة إيرادات القناة بنسبة 34% عن العام السابق لتصل إلي ما يقارب 9.4 مليار دولار.

وكان الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي قد اجتمع برئيس هيئة قناة السويس الفريق أسامة ربيع، وقد استعرض سيادة الفريق أمام الرئيس المصري المشروعات الجاري تنفيذها لتطوير القطاع الجنوبي من المجري الملاحي لقناة السويس والاستراتيجيات المتبعة لتحديث الأسطول البحري، وقد شدد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي علي ضرورة استكمال تطوير المجري الجنوبي للقناة وبنيتها التحتية لتعزيز قدراتها التنافسية والمحافظة علي مكانتها المتميزة علي مستوي حركة الملاحة العالمية مما يعود بالإيجاب علي الناتج القومي الاجمالي للدولة المصرية وتحسين معيشة المواطنين.










Expectations of an increase in Suez Canal revenues

The Egyptian Suez Canal Authority announced that starting from mid-January, regular transit fees will be increased by 5-15%, as the authority announced through its website that fees will be raised by 15% on crude oil tankers and petroleum derivatives in general, in addition to liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas carriers, car carriers and chemical carriers of all kinds.

The authority also explained that there is a 5% fee hike for normal transit for both general cargo ships, dry bulk cargo ships and other ships, with an emphasis on exempting ships coming from the ports of northwestern Europe and heading directly to the ports of the Far East.

The Egyptian state expects to increase the revenues of the Suez Canal to $ 10 billion by the end of 2024, as the Spokesman for the Presidency announced that according to the statement of navigation traffic in the canal that was presented to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, it became clear that the navigation movement and the number of ships passing through the Suez Canal had increased by 17.6% compared to the previous year, in addition to increasing the canal's revenues by 34% from the previous year to reach approximately $ 9.4 billion.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had met with the Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, and the Lieutenant General reviewed before the Egyptian President the projects being implemented to develop the southern sector of the Suez Canal navigational course and the strategies used to modernize the maritime fleet, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the need to complete the development of the southern stream of the canal and its infrastructure to enhance its competitiveness and maintain its distinguished position at the level of global navigation, which positively returns to the gross national product of the Egyptian state and improve Citizens' livelihood.
