هى الحربُ
يُساقُ لها الشَّبابُ زُّمَرا

فتَحصدُ الارواحْ
وفى نفوسِ من تبقّى
تصدأُ الجراحْ

يستبدُ الخوفُ

يستطيلُ الحزنُ والعذابُ
فى الاطفالِ والنساءْ
رضيعةٌ غائرةُ العينينِ
قوامها جلدٌ تشدّه العظامُ
تَعَضُّ ثدياً عافهُ الحليبُ
الجوعُ والسقامُ

فى دمائها جَرَى
وغُصّةُ أمٍ حاسرةْ
تعولُ قُصّرا
تنكثُ الثّرى

تشاركُ النَّملَ
فى حبَّاتِ قمحٍ
أو لقيمةٍ من الذُرةْ
وكانَ حلمها يطاولُ الذُّرَى

وأخْرى تطبُخُ حجرا
تخادعُ الصغارَ
حتّى يهجمُ النومُ
وتبقى حسرةٌ منهمرةْ

وكم فتاةٍ ساهرةْ
تطاردُ الافكارَ فى السُّرَى
تُناجى قمرا
تُسائله عن الفتى
الذى مضى

هل يعودُ

هل تصونُ العهدَ

ترقبُ الأملْ

مابينَ هلْ وهلْ

يطيشُ الفكرُ حائرا

وشوقُ شيخٍ ظلّ

فى انتظارِ الابنِ صابرا

لو أنّه يراهُ

أو يضمّهَ

أو يشمَّ ريحهُ

لعادَ مُبصرا

هى الحربُ

اذا استعرتْ

تزلزلُ الأحياءْ

تستبيحُ الوطنْ

تنخرُ الولاءْ

تنحرُ الاخاءْ
تصادرُ السرّاءْ

تثيرُ منبع العفنْ

وكم من البشرْ

فيهم لهيبُ الشَّرِ يستعرْ

ظاهرهم قناعُ خيرْ

وفى الصميمِ

سوءٌ ينهمرْ

وينضحُ سُمّا

هذا رأس أخى

ينُّز دما

والفمُ باسما

يرمقنى بإلفةٍ آسرةْ

ونظرةٍ حائرةْ

اشيحُ وجهى عنهُ

انزعُ الحياءْ

وبازدراءْ

ادوسهُ بطرفِ الحذاءْ

لضعفهِ لا اكترثْ

اتخطَّى الجُثثْ

اقتسمُ الغنيمةْ

ادندنُ بلحنِ اغنيةٍ قديمةْ

احتفلُ بالنصرِ

فى مواضعِ الهزيمةْ

وفى الخفاءْ

اغازلُ النساءْ
استرقُ النَّظَرْ

الى حليلةَ جارى

وحين ادخل دارىْ

ادُسُّ عارىْ

ارتدى حُلّة النقاءْ

اتأبّطُ عِفّتى

اُضاحكُ زوجتى

الاعبُ صغارى

كسائرِ الآباءْ

اُمازحهمْ

اُلاطفهمْ

وأحكى لهمْ

عنِ التضحياتِ والوفاءْ

It is the war

Where young people get driven into the corps

Where it gathers spirits

And in the lives of who remained

Wounds got rusted

Their fear reigned

Grief and anguish got extended

Among children and women

A deep-set eyed infant

Whose shape is just a skin covering her bones

Biting a breast that milk is disgusted with

Hunger and disease

In her blood have spread

Heartbreak of a bared mother

Sustaining minors

Digging the ground

Sharing with ants

Grains of wheat

Or a bite of corn

As her dream had reached all peaks

And another’s cooking stones

Deceiving the children

Until they fall asleep

And a pouring heartbreak remains

Many girls are staying up late

Chasing their thoughts at night

Whispering to the moon

Asking about the lad who has gone

Would he come back?

Would she keep her word?

Willing for hope

In between the questions

The thought trembles, bewildered

And an eager old man

Who’s patiently waiting for his son

If he could see his mug

Or give him a hug

Or smell his scent

He would recover his sight

If glazed

It destroys the living

Abuses the country

Gnaws the loyalty

Slaughters the fraternity

Confiscates the ecstasy

Excites the source of the stench

And how many people

Look like evil

They have a mask of an angel

But for real

A cunning devil

And poisons trickle

This is my brother’s head

Bleeding profusely

But his mouth’s still smiling

Staring at me with an fascinating intimacy

And a worried look

I turn my face from him

Remove the decency

And with disdain

I step on him with my shoe

For his weakness I don’t care

I step over the carcasses

Sharing the booty

Warble a melody of an old song

I celebrate the victory

Where I defeated the battle

And secretly

I flirt with women

Steal a glance

At my neighbour’s wife

And when I enter my house

I conceal my infamy

And wear a piety garment

I hold my chastity

Laugh with my wife

Lark with my children

Like all fathers

Joking with them

Spoil them and tell them

ربما لأنه تعامل مع النص حرفياً، أو لأنه لم يعر إعتباراً لضبطه البلاغي أو لأنه
لم يقرأ (بدقة) علامات تشكيله،،، كما هو بائنٌ في ترجمته للعنوان !

دعني أتعمق قليلاً في الأصل وترجمته لأعود لك بدلوي في بعض ترجمته!
