John Case is currently a lecturer at Mazoon College in Muscat, teaching courses in English Literature and Western Civilisation. After graduating in English Language and Literature at Oxford University, his first post was as a volunteer teacher of English
at Port Sudan Higher Secondary School for Boys from 1972-1973. While he was in Sudan he travelled to the West and South, by train from Khartoum to El Obeid and Wau, and then by boat from Juba to Kosti. He subsequently lived and taught in Finland, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and the UK before coming to Oman in 2007.







John Chapman is a local government officer working in neighbourhood development, capacity building and mediation in Salford – one of the constituent parts of Greater Manchester. After graduating in English Language and Literature from the University of Durham and completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education he spent a year as a teacher-trainer in the English department at Bakt-Er-Ruda Teacher Training College during 1972 and ‘73. Subsequently, after teaching in a secondary school in London, he joined the British Council and worked in London, Jordan, Mexico, Greece and Manchester. He then spent some years running a small consulting company concerned with heritage management before joining Salford City Council in 2005.

الصحيح بريطانيون وليس بريطانيين. لأن بريطانيون مبتدأ مرفوع بالإبتداء وعلامة رفعه الواو لأنه جمع مذكر سالم. وجمع المذكر السالم يرفع بالواو وينصب بالألف ويجر بالياء. مع الشكر
