مما يثلج الصدر فى (فى بلدان الثلج)!وغيرها من مدن البلدان التى انتشر فيها ابناء السودان بشقيه شمال وجنوب ،ان نرى ابناء السودانيين، مصدر حفاوة ومحط اهتمام المجتمعات التى يعيشون فيها ..تم ترشيح أيمانويل جال الشاب السودانى أبن الجنوب الحبيب لجائزة كالقيرى للسلام لمجهوده لنشر السلام والتغنى برسالة السلام،فكان بذلك رسولا للسلام من اجل أطفال السودان الذين عانوا من ويلات الحروب والمجاعات واليتم والتشريد..تغنى أبننا أيمانويل بالسلام وقال الأشعار هائما ومشاركا فى كل المحافل المحليه والعالمية. فى تحقيق ذلك الحلم العزيز لابن الوطن العزيز..
ومدينة كالقيرى بجامعتها العريقة تكرم فى يوم 2 مارس السبت،ابن الدماء الحاره أبنوسى الطلعة،الحالم بالسلام لجائزة السلام.

Emmanuel Jal will make a presentation specifically to the youth and other members of the public about his life’s journey and about peace in the midst of violent conflict, activism, and music. Quote: Childhood Born in the village of Tonj in Southern Sudan, Jal (Jal mean in Nuer Language "walk") was a young child when the Second Sudanese Civil War broke out. His father joined the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) and when he was about seven years old his mother was killed by soldiers loyal to the government.[1] He then decided to join the thousands of children traveling to Ethiopia who had been told that they could be educated there. However, many of the children, Jal included, were recruited by the SPLA and taken to military training camps in the bush in Etwas disguised as a school in front of international aid agencies and UN representatives, but behind closed doors the children were training to fight. "I didn't have a life as a child. In five years as a fighting boy, what was in my heart was to kill as many Muslims as possible." Jal spent several years fighting with the SPLA in Ethiopia, until war broke in and out, there too and the child soldiers were forced back into Sudan by the fighting and joined the SPLA's efforts to fight the government in the town of Juba. "Many kids there were so bitter, they wanted to know what happened to them. And we all wanted revenge."[2] When the fighting became unbearable Jal and some other children decided to run away. They were on the move for three months, with many dying on the way, until they reached the town of Waat, which was the headquarter of a small group that had separated themselves from the main SPLA. In Waat, Jal met Emma McCune, a British aid worker married to senior SPLA commandant Riek Machar. Emmanuel was only 11 years old then and McCune insisted he should not be a soldier. She adopted him and smuggled him to Kenya. There Emmanuel attended school in Nairobi. McCune died in a road accident a few months later, but her friends (Madeliene Bunting and Anna Ledgard) helped Emmanuel to continue his studies. However, after McCune died, her husband Machar did not agree with Emmanuel staying with him, and was forced to live in the slums

Quote: Music With the help of a British aid worker, Emma McCune, Jal escaped into Kenya. But even that came with hardships as he lived for years in the slums. But Jal eventually stumbled upon hip-hop and discovered the genre harboured incredible power, both spiritual and political.[3] While studying in Kenya. Jal started singing to ease the pain of what he had experienced. He also became very active in the community, raising money for local street children and refugees. With the encouragement of those around him like Gatkuoth Jal who has also went through the same experiece, Jal became increasingly involved in music and formed several groups. His first single, "All We Need Is Jesus", was a hit in Kenya and received airplay in the UK. Through his music, Jal counts on the unity of the citizens to overcome ethnic and religious division and motivate the youth in Sudan. After escaping to Kenya, he fell in love with hip hop in the way that it identified issues being faced by the neighborhood, which he was able to identify with in a unique manner. Although he lacked any music background or knowledge of its history, he felt that hip hop could provide the easiest and most effective vehicle to express his story and lobby for political change.[4] He went on to produce his first album, Gua, a mix of rap in Arabic, English, Swahili, Dinka and Nuer. The symbolism of unity is expressed in the title, meaning both "peace" in Nuer and "power" in Sudanese Arabic. His lyrics illustrate the desires of the Sudanese people to return to a peaceful, independent homeland. Although the only hip hop Jal had ever listened to was American, while he was in Kenya, the beat to "Gua" is not the usual American hip hop, but rather is strongly African. The title track, also called "Gua", was a number one hit in Kenya and featured on The Rough Guide to the Music of Sudan and Help: A Day in the Life, bringing together some of Britain's best known on a CD in aid of children in conflict zones (produced by War Child). His next single, "War Child", mixes rap with soul to produce a world music vibe. He begins with telling his story through powerful lyrics; "I'm a war child / I believe I've survived for a reason / To tell my story, to touch lives."[5] He continues the song with the narrative of his life and the pain inflicted upon him. "Written in English, Jal's second language, the new album [War-Child] may lack the poetic gymnastics of hip-hop's more fluent stars, but the plainness of the words - half-spoken, half-chanted over a mix of hip-hop and African-flavored choruses - keeps the focus on the story."[6] His powerful words spread the message of what he has been through, and what many are still living with now. His unique brand of hip hop, layered with African beats, has led him to be considered one of the rising stars in the world music scene. Prior to Jal, rapping in Southern Sudan was primarily in the local language of Nuer and artists used sticks and clapping hands in place of instruments. His second album, Ceasefire, was released in September 2005 and includes a re-recording of "Gua". This album is a collaboration with the well known Sudanese Muslim musician Abd El Gadir Salim and brings together opposing sides of the conflict, and different music traditions, to a common ground of the wish for peace in Sudan. The collaboration represents a vision for the future, as two Sudanese men, a Christian and a Muslim, unify and pave the way to overcome differences peacefully. Both musicians endured unimaginable adversity to become important figures, not only in music, but in the future of a country. They accentuate the differences between them and their musical styles, as a symbol of co-existence. The album preaches in four languages, encompasses every type of music in one, in an effort to transform the sound of hope into musical form. Ceasefire is not only the sound of two men collaborating on a musical project, but more symbolically, two halves of a divided nation learning to trust each other. This album's version of "Gua" was played on the American television series ER at the very end of the Season 12 episode "There Are No Angels Here" (aired on May 4, 2006). Among other places he performed at the Live 8 Concert in Cornwall in the summer of 2005. He was awarded a 2005 American Gospel Music Award for best international artist. Jal's third album, Warchild, was released by Sonic360 Records in the UK on May 12, 2008. Jal, along with an all-star line-up featuring Amy Winehouse, Eddy Grant, Will Smith and others, performed songs at Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday concert at London's Hyde Park on June 27, 2008. Criticized for being steered into the mainstream and entering a conformist territory of hip-hop, Emmanuel says ""I'm not turning away from the world-music audience which has supported me," Jal says. "There's still an African influence in my music. I don't try to sound American. I rap like an African, because that's what I am. In the song 'Warchild,' I say I survived for a reason: to tell my story. I believe that. I feel a responsibility to do these songs and tell the world what is happening in my country."[7] Emmanuel Jal's newest album, See Me Mama, was released on August 7, 2012 via jal's label, Gatwitch Records. See Me Mama was distributed by Universal Music Canada.

Quote: Activism Jal, whose own childhood was robbed from him, aims to protect the childhood of others through music. "Music is powerful. It is the only thing that can speak into your mind, your heart and your soul without your permission."[8] Asked in an interview in a New Statesman magazine article if politics and art should mix, Jal answers "When there is a need, they should mix. In times of war, starvation, hunger and injustice, such tragedy can only be put aside if you allow yourself to be uplifted through music, film and dance. It can be used to communicate messages to the masses and create awareness, to influence the people positively. A perfect example is Bob Marley: his message is still being heard today."[9] Through his heartfelt lyrics, he opens the world up to the corruption and greed of the Sudanese government; central to the themes of his songs is the campaign for peace of opposing sides in Sudan and the clear message that children have no place in wars. He has also passionately criticized the current state of hip hop culture in the United States. He sees hip hop as a vehicle to communicate an authentic message, rather than a space to pursue street credibility. "As well as simply being great songs, people are really getting into the lyrics, really understanding his message, and he is a great role model."[10] He has expressed concern about the message being sent by American hip-hop artists, saying “American hip hop is still entwined with gang culture, drugs, sexual violence, and greed. It’s a battleground.”[11] His song, "50 Cent", speaks to the successful American rapper to change his violent messages, which have a destructive influence on children, as exemplified through his Bulletproof videogame. "You have done enough damage selling crack cocaine/now you got a 'kill a black man' video game/We have lost a whole generation through this lifestyle/now you want to put it in the game for a little child to play..."[12] "The Roots and Jal set the hip-hop bar higher," wrote Washington Post in 2008.[13] Emmanuel is a spokesman for the Make Poverty History campaign, the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers and the Control Arms campaign. In 2008, Jal also got involved in the musical movement of spreading awareness about current slavery and human trafficking by performing various songs for the rockumentary, Call+Response.[14] A documentary about Emmanuel Jal called War Child was made in 2008 by C. Karim Chrobog. It made its international debut at the Berlin Film Festival and its North American debut at the Tribeca Film Festival, where it won the Cadillac Audience Award.[15] An autobiography under the same name was released in 2009.[16] Despite his accomplishments in music, Jal's biggest passion is for Gua Africa, a charity that he founded. Besides building schools, the nonprofit provides scholarships for Sudanese war survivors in refugee camps, and sponsors education for children in the most deprived slum areas in Nairobi.,[17][18] The organization's main mission is to work with individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by war and poverty. Based in both Sudan and Kenya, Gua Africa focuses on providing children and young adults with an education that would otherwise be unavailable to the majority. In April 2008 Gua Africa was granted full UK charity status and also received an NGO registration in South Sudan. In April 2011 they received NGO status in Kenya. Gua Africa is also one of three beneficiary charities of Emmanuel Jal's 'Lose to Win' challenge, with the other charities being the Africa Yoga Project and MyStart. As a musician, activist and general inspirational figure Emmanuel is challenging others to 'Lose' something in order to help others less fortunate to 'win'. He himself will be giving up his home and living as a modern day nomad for the duration of the challenge.[19] Jal completed a 661-day "Lose to Win" fast to build a school in Leer, Southern Sudan, in Emma McCune's honor. From December 2008 to October 2010, the musician ate one meal per day, skipping his breakfasts and lunches to raise funds and awareness for the school, called Emma Academy., ,[20][21][22][23] Emmanuel Jal's most recent project is a Global Peace campaign called We Want Peace 2012. The project is a steady effort to inform the world that peace is a possibility. That genocide can be prevented through the power of music and activism. His message of peace is cleverly being promoted alongside his second studio album "See Me Mama", released October 2, 2012. A percentage of the profits made from the album will of course be used to support Jal's charities

ياسيدى الحكاية بسيطه ايمانويل من الاطفال المفقودين ابان حروب الجنوب الكريهه ابوه التحق بالجيش SPLA وامه توفت وبعده فقد ابوه،ثم نزح كما اخبروهم للتعليم فى اثيوبيا ،لكن هناك كان السلاح من نصيبهم وهم اطفال وتانى رجعو سكة الموت ..واتبنته خواجية Emma وكمان توفت الى رحمة مولاها بحادث حركة ،فى كينيا اكتشف صوته وبداء يعبر بتلك السن الصغيرة عن رغبته فى السلام مثل كل طفل بعمره يتمنى ان يعيش فى سلام،وامتد مسيرة حياته وهو رافعا لهذه الرايه شعرا وغنى راب، وموسيقى ومنظمات لحماية الاطفال من الحروب واثارها ..وشارك فى العديد من الاحتفاليات وغنى مع بعض المشاهير حاملا رسالة السلام ومعبرا عن كل سودانى اينما كان..وكان ضمن من تم انتخابهم للغناء فى عيد ميلاد نلسون مانديلا،ونال عدد من الجوائز للسلام...
ونهاية الحكاية فى اتنين مارس السبت مدينتان كالفيرى بالغرب الكندى، بجامعتها العريقة سوف تحتفل بولدنا ود حشى السودان الموجوع ..والولود فى نيران حروب جنوبه ،مايقارب الخمسه وخمسين عاما،وكان ذلك بعهد حكومات رضينا عنها وقتها جميعا باعتبار انها الافضل!!!!!!!!الى ان جاء من قسم هذا الوطن الحبيب الى قسمين شمال وجنوب..ومازال الحال مسكونا بوجع اشد من سابقة......
وأيمانويل ابن الجنوب يغنى للسلام..وهذه بمثابة دعوة لكى يضم ابن الشمال على ابن الجنوب ضلوعه اخوانا متجاورين الكل يفخر بالكل فى رسالة السلام ثمرتها الخير والمحبه..

وبما ان المقام مقام سلام وبكل اللغات، نذكر رجل نادى بالسلام لحل قضية الجنوب حتى يظل الوطن الحبيب واحد بشماله وجنوبه ،الا وهو الأستاذ محمود محمد طه

Quote: حل مشكلة الجنوب فى حل مشكلة الشمال! كانت مشكلة جنوب السودان من أهم القضايا التى اهتم بها الاستاذ محمود فى فكره السياسى ، اذ كانت مشكلة الجنوب احدى قضيتين أخرج من أجلهما الحزب الجمهورى منشوراته التى واجهت الانجليز فى عام 1946 م ، والتى على اثرها تم سجن الاستاذ سجنه الأوّل ، ثم كانت مشكلة الجنوب أيضا هى أحدى القضايا التى من أجلها أخرج الجمهوريون منشورهم الشهير(هذا أو الطوفان) والذى واجه سلطة الهوس الدينى المايوى ، والذى تصاعد الى محاكمة الاستاذ محمود فى يناير من العام 1985م ، وقد ذهبت كلمة الاستاذ محمود الشهيرة (حل مشكلة الجنوب فى حل مشكلة الشمال) مثلا على استواء البصيرة السياسية على جادة الحكمة التى تزن الأمور بميزان التوحيد ، وذلك بالاشارة الصائبة الى أن مشكلة الجنوب انما هى بنت افتقار القوى السياسية السودانية الى المذهبية الفكرية الرشيدة ، وركونها الى الفساد السياسى والمكايدة الحزبية ، وهى عين مشكلة الشمال ، ولم ينفك الجنوب عن التأرجح تحت عجلة الاتفاقات التى لا تعقد الا لتنقض بيد القصور السياسى والتخبط الحزبى ، فى تأكيد متصل على مقولة الاستاذ محمود سالفة الذكر.

لكم التحية وأنتم توجهون الاهتمام نحو هذا الفنان السوداني الذي يعتلي سلم المجد بثقة بأغانيه ذات المعاني السامية. ويسرني أن أنقل لكم نبذة سبق أن كتبها عنه ابني عمار عبد المنعم في يونيو 2009م - نشرتها له في بوست الأستاذ محمد المرتضى حامد (صورة مريحة) :

Quote: (إمانويل جال) فنان راب سوداني فريد من نوعه ولد في جنوب السودان في أوائل الثمانينات، وهو لا يدري بالضبط عمره الحقيقي. في فترة الحرب الأهلية اللعينة، كان قد أرسل للقتال مع قوات الـ SPLA، وعمره لم يتجاوز الثمانية سنوات ( Child Soldier) حاملاً بندقية الـ AK47 التي تفوقه قامةً. وبعد مضي خمس سنوات، مرت به أثناءها سلسلة من الأحداث المروعة، تم إنقاذه من قبل عاملة الإغاثة البريطانية Emma McCune (زوجة رياك ماشار)، التي هربته عن طريق نيروبي، وبعدها تبنته إلى أن باغتتها المنية وماتت في حادث سير. وقد أجزل لها (جال) العطاء المدرار، إذ غنى لها أغنية خاصة صدحت بها حنجرته في العيد التسعين لميلاد مانديلا في Hyde Park في لندن. تم تقديمه في ذلك الحفل على أنه Young Bob Marley وسط حشدٍ من الجماهير يضاهي الـ 50000، ضم أهم الشخصيات العالمية. فكان (جال) أول فنان أو شخصية سودانية تحظى بمثل هذا الزخم الجماهيري الهادر. وقد كتبت عنه أكبر الصحف العالمية عبر مواقعها الإسفيرية منها: Newsweek - News Story The Guardian - Interview The Independent Time Magazine Washington Post وله لقاءات في قناة الجزيرة الإنجليزية، وصدر له كتاب و فيلم وثائقي حاز على عدة جوائز عالمية، بالإضافة إلى إدراج أغنيته Baai في فيلم Blood Diamond الشهير as Soundtrack ، وأيضا مشاركته الفعالة في أغنية Price Of Silence اللوحة الموسيقية العالمية التي كتبت للاحتفال بالذكرى الستين لتوقيع الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، ضامةً أشهر الموسيقيين العالميين ، والتي تنقل رسالة حقوق الإنسان القائلة "إن حقوق الإنسان تنطلق من البيت وإن النضال من أجلها يوحد العالم بأسره".

اسعدتنى مساهمتكم الغالية فى اثراء البوست بهذه (الراحة) الأنسانية والتى طفرت من مجالسة ايمناويل لمانديلا، مايفرح دايما ان ترى (السودان) فى مكان ما ،ممثلا ولو فى مجلس مؤانسة!! ناهيك عن قامة رجل داعى سلام مثل نيلسون مانديلا،والذى خرج بعد اكثر من سبعين عاما قضاها فى المعتقلات، مناديا بالصفح والسلام والمغفرة لمن حبسه فى خلف السجون كل حياته،وداعيا للسلام..

لقد كنت من المتابعين لمسيرة الفنان إيمانويل جال منذ فترة طويلة، ولقد لاحظت أنه موهوب بحق وحقيقة. ولقد أحتل مكانة دولية وسط فناني العالم. وأتمنى له أن يفوز بهذه الجائزة وجوائز أخرى أيضا وذلك لمواقفه الخيرية الداعمة لجهود السلام في العالم. شكرا لك ولهذا البوست الهام.

سعادتى بأيمانويل دونما مزايده هى سعادتى بنجاح فاطمة أبنتى ،والسبب فى غاية البساطة ،هنا فى بلدان الديموقراطيات والسلام ،أيمانويل ابن السودان،ايمانويل سمرته وسواده لاتفرق من سمرة وسواد فاطمة المهدى بت الشمال،وكل السودان هو سودان..هكذا نشئنا وهكذا ننشئ ابنائنا بالرغم من قصور الحكومات..
يضاف الى ذلك نحن فى علاقتنا مع الجنوبيين لم نكتسبها مؤخرا بفضل اللجؤ خارج السودان ،لكن بفضل الأستاذ محمود محمد طه والفكرة الجمهورية نعرف لابن الجنوب قدره وللجنوب مكانته من خارطة البلد الحبيب،وقدم الاستاذ والفكرة الجمهورية أسهامها فى طرح قضية الجنوب (حل مشكلة الجنوب فى حل مشكلة الشمال)..واسمح لى ان اهديك والجميع اهداء كتابنا( جنوب السودان المشكلة والحل) بالانجليزى..

صباح الخيرات بتوقيتنا اذ عندنا الساعة السادسة واربعين دقيقة صباحا،اليوم غاية البرودة اذ نزلت علينا خمسة /سم . من الجليد وفرش أرضنا برغم برودته بياضا جميلا يفرح ويبعث على التفاؤل،ثم وجدت مشاركتكم اللطيفة هذه و التى تشعر الأنسان فى أى مكان كان وباى حالة مزاجية هو، تشعره بدفء روحى عجيب والفه مفقوده فى زمن صعب سخرته الرأسماليه فقط للركد واللهث وراء أشباع الأحتياجات الخاصة والفردية..ثم تطلى تأكيدا على ان صور السلام عديدة منها ان يعير مجهودك من ليهو قيمة ويسعد الناس بى وجوده..
تسلمى وسوف امدكم بتوثيق وصور لليلة التى تحتفى بها كل المدينة بحكومتها ولانها جائزة سلام سنوية هذا عامها السابع فلها من الأهمية ما احاول ان انقله للمجتمع السودانى المحيط بى!..كما أتمنى ان يعى السودانيين انها هذه المرة مختلفة ،أذ انها تخصهم.. تتصورى الكنديين زملائى بالمكتب كلما ذكر أمر الجائزة هذا العام يباركونها لى، بأعتبار (السودان) وليس (ايمانويل ) فقط،..والله انه لزهو لايحسه الا من قارن بين حالتين ،ان تكون أسود وأسمك مرتبط بالأرهاب الدينى ،أو الوضعية المتدنية فى المجتمع، من حيث التعليم والوظائف المهمه والسلوك الحضارى (فى الغالب الافارقة الامريكان بأوضاعهم الصعبة) ثم تاتى المقارنة بأنكم رسل سلام واولادكم ناجحين وينافسون فى الجوائز ويشاركون فى المحافل الدولية وهنا ينادونهم (سودانى كندى) (سودانى أمريكى) وهكذا ترفع القبعات للأفضل ...

كانت ليلة جميلة..و كان ايمانويل فخر الشباب السوداني.. الأفريقي..العالمي..
و كتر خير مدينة كالقري على هذه اللفتة البارعة لرجل بارع...

ياسلاااااااااااااااااااااااااااام وياله من شعور أنسانى مهيب،ان تقيف وسط الداره ،تقول ديل أهلى، ودى ايمانويل السودانى ابن الجنوب فخر شباب بلدى..
فرحت بى شوفتك كالعادة ياصديقى الراقى كبر فالأماكن بتواجدكم أرحب..وكان لتواجد الدكتورة أمال مادبو والتى تعمل بالتدريس فى الجامعة طعم نجاح المرأة السودانية،وهى محاطة بجميع طلبتها من جامعة كالقيرى ومعظمهم من ابناء الجنوب مابين طلبة مبتدئين او هم طلبة ماجستير اودكتوراه وهى كالفراشة وسط الجميل تقدر كل أنسان قدرة فتقدم كل للاخر بأحسن تقديم وتقدير يلتف حولها الجميع طلبة يطلبون التصوير معها وأساتذة يلقون عليها التحية بأحترام ظاهرأسعدتنى صحبتها المفيدة اللطيفة..كما أسعدتنى رؤية كل من الاساتذة عيسى جمعة ومحمد صالح ودكتور جمال كممثلين لمنظماتهم وروابطهم،وجميلة رؤية وجوه الشباب الحبيب ممثلين لمنظمة الشباب السودانى بكالقيرى للتغييرSudanese Calgarian Youth for Change فهم الأمل فى التغيير الذى لايعرف القبليات اوالرؤية من خلال المناظير الضيقة بل سودان رحب يسع الجميع وينتظر شبابه للتغيير،بسودان جديد يسع كل الرؤى مادام فى النهاية خيرها للسودان..
كانت ليلة أبتدرها أيمانويل جال بان رسالته من أجل الشمال والجنوب وجبال النوبة والنيل الأزق ومن أجل أطفال دارفور والذين هم فى مناطق الحروب مايزالون يعيشون..
والى ان يشرق صباح اليوم الجديد،أكتب عن تلك الليلة ، فاقل مايقال عنها أنها قد أذابت جليد سنوات من الاحزان ولو لحين!!ومازلنا نحيا أنتظار لأمل بسودان مشرق بابنائه المخلصين..بلارجعية ولاحروب ولاطائفية ولاهوس ولاعنصرية سودان سودا مشرق بالبياض..
فهل لنا يامولاى من عودة هل؟؟؟
